Home Away from "Home"

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The view from the balcony are amazing, as are the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The kitchen was also well stocked with supplies, which really came in handy, and I liked the German novel left by someone in the room. Great view of sea and sunset and we saw toucans and other birds from the large private patio. We had a large apartment with 2 rooms, spacious. Weird that it’s under the restaurant, but it was quiet and we slept well.

Good location. Air condition was good. Nice view and hostel shared kitchen from shared deck. Not super clean but maybe due to age of property. Overall a fine place to stay if you are looking to save some money near the National Park.

I stayed in a modern big apartment with a pool outside only for me and my neighbor's. A wonderful oceanview with sunset completed the experience. Clean and dark curtains to keep the sunshine out.

Efficient

Great place to stay before visiting Manuel Antonio national park. Our room was probably the cheapest on the property and had no view, it's between the road and the lobby building. Restaurant on site (they offer you 25 % off because you stay there) but we didn't try it. We left very early in the morning. It was good because we just used the room to have a shower and sleep but I wouldn't recommend this room for a longer stay

Super comfortable bed, awesome shower and great AC in the deluxe room. The view was so peaceful and amazing. Good amount of space for parking. Didn’t try the restaurant (looked overpriced and meh), but the people were nice. Not the “safest” for walking but not because of thieves, it’s because it’s literally located off a curve and it’s a little dark and hard for cars to see in either direction. But we walked and didn’t get hit (used our phone flashlights to let people know we were there.) I would stay here again! I MEGA recommend it. So close to everything and so comfortable

We booked the property on Expedia. The rooms offered different amenities, as well as modern vs older styles. From the listing, it appeared that our stay would be in a more modern apartment with a pool. This was not the case. Only the deluxe room has access to the pool. It was also very difficult to find from the notrd directions. Overall it was a fine stay, but a bit misleading. We didn't feel the quality matched the value. I would recommemd shopping around a bit more.

Honestly the property is not that bad but I do realized few things… the shower was not hot at all and our son had to take a cold shower, we tried to contact them via WhatsApp but they said it’s too late and the maintance is closed. But after we keep asking and telling them that our son is taking a cold shower, finally they send someone but it was too late then because my husband had to figure it out, but my son still took a shower because they were taking a while. The bed’s fitting sheet will not stay/doesn’t fit on the bed mattress, so I technically woke up sleeping directly on the mattress, the knife that I tried to use in the kitchen got detached from the handle so the sharp part of the knife was without a handle and that one of the face towels still have hair wrapped inside of it…

Uncomfortable bed

The bed had a hump in the middle of the bed, very difficult to sleep, the room was noisy because it was beside the road could hear all the cars and motorcycles all night. We were disappointed with our room , not what we expected for the price, this place was like a hostel not a lodge.

Bel appartement familial et très grand. Cependant très rudimentaire comme accessoires disponible. Le frigidaire ne fonctionne pas et le congélateur n’est pas assez froid pour congeler. Cependant la vue es sublime. L’appartement que nous avions était sous le restaurant donc très bruyant le soir entre 16h et 21h.

Nice views and the kitchen was convenient. Location was walkable to some stores and restaurants. On the negative, the beds were very saggy and the pillows terribly lumpy. There is no A/C in the main rooms (fortunately there is in the bedrooms). The fan was not working either - so very uncomfortable with 95 degree weather.

El área privada de los apartamentos está muy bien, lo recomiendo ampliamente. El personal muy atento, especial agradecimiento a Jefrey por su implacable trato y actitud de colaboración. El restaurante del hotel “Lagarto” es muy bueno con bonita vista al mar como el resto del Lodge

This was more like a hostel for young people and I did not feel safe at all with staying there with my wife and two small children. We ended up leaving the property the same day and had to walk the streets at night in rain to find a safe place to stay! I need the full amount paid refunded.
