Mint House is an adorable hotel very near the National Mall. The apartment was clean and cute, and had all the amenities we needed, including a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. There are plenty of restaurants nearby including a wonderful cafe. The staff was kind, helpful and very welcoming.

Friendly staff and great location. The only downfall is the air filter system runs 24/7 and you’re not able to shut it off. It’s like a loud sound machine and our room,1005, faced the center of the building so when you look out the windows that’s all you see are brick walls.

Above and beyond expectations!

Our check in experience and overal one night stay was absolutely amazing! I was greeted by Sardia who was more than helpful with parking and getting us settled in to the beautiful room. Everything was perfect for our spontaneous one night detour while on a quick road trip. We will definitely be back and recommend the Mint House to anyone making a trip to DC.

Hotel needs deep cleaning, we found food stains, unwashed folks, hair and dirty glasses, not to mention the floor, which was pretty gross. I would advise contacting the Hotel and asking for a deep clean prior to your arrival, It is such a great location. It’s a shame the hotel is so dirty - such a turnoff.

Newly renovated. The apartment has in-room laundry, a fully stacked kitchen, and quality furnishings. The only downside that it’s a bit noisy in the morning due to outside construction but everything else is great.

I would stay again. Their rental spaces are clean, smell great and provide everything you need for a long stay in DC. I really liked the staff and all the amenities provided. There was a washer and dryer, a full kitchen and an extra bed. I was able to walk to everything thing I wanted to see such as the capital building and the natural history museum. They dont provide parking so you will pay extra to park nearby. Saving this location for future trips!

We booked this hotel after our flight was cancelled and our luggage was lost. At check in I asked for a tooth brush and briefly explained to the very very sweet woman checking us in about our day. Not only did she give me a tooth brush, she upgraded us to a room with a washer & dryer so I could wash the only clothes I had. The room was wonderful, the bed was comfortable

Great location. Apartment was spacious and I especially loved the towels. However, the bedsheets smelled like a sweaty hockey locker room. I could not sleep and it was too late in the night to get my bed changed over. Definitely not worth the money.

Everybody that worked there was so friendly. I had some real bad issues with catching a flight and my car being unavailable the day that I checked out. But the gentleman behind the desk that worked that early morning that morning, 7 July was invaluable in his help. He went above and beyond what he needed to to help me solve some issues that had nothing to do with my stay there or anything that was really his job to help me out with. But he took the time and effort to make some wonderful suggestions that helped me out tremendously. Will definitely be staying there again.

Experiencia mejorable

Los apartamentos están muy bien ubicados. Tienen una zona común en el sótano con gimnasio, cocina y lavandería. Todo muy limpio. Nuestra experiencia con el apartamento no fue muy buena. Nos alojaron en la tercera planta interior, a partir de las 6 de la mañana no se podía dormir porque empezaban a llegar los camiones de la basura y el ruido era insufrible (en un cajón encontramos tapones y antifaz). El tamaño del apartamento era insuficiente ya que al extender el sofá cama no tenías espacio para moverte (éramos 3 personas). Además disponía sólo de 2 taburetes, reclamamos un tercero y nos dijeron que no tenían más, por lo que uno de nosotros tenía que comer en los pies de la cama. Durante nuestra estancia escribí un mail de reclamación del cuál no hemos obtenido respuesta. Tuvimos que utilizar la lavandería del sótano, porque nuestra habitación no tenía una propia. Me da pena escribir esta reseña porque el personal de la mañana era muy amable y el hotel en general está muy bien.
