We loved having the space of an apartment. It was such a great stay and conveniently located to UAB!

I liked that there was shopping nearby including a grocery store. Parking was great as well. Easily walk to food/stores. The apartment itself was great. Clean and had supplies such as detergent for the dish and clothes washer. Highly recommend!

Short stay
The unit was just as pictured. Very nice apartment. Drains were slow in bathrooms and in the front bedroom, you could hear noise on the street during the night. Overall great stay. Door opening system takes some getting used to.

I didn’t like the open garage which didn’t make me feel safe after a homeless person was loitering.

After figuring out how to open the doors on the property our stay was great. Secured building. Covered parking. friendly people. Very walkable to various restaurants.
Clean and well appointed. Just enough for the four of us.

My dad had surgery and we used the apartment, and amenities during the week to rest and then for him to recoup a few days before driving home. Would definitely use again for personal, business or vacation!

The only thing that needs improvement is black out curtains for the main bedroom. But other than that everything was wonderful!!!

Everything was great! The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the shower. Very little water pressure so showering was a little annoying. Otherwise, all was perfect!

I love it, it had everything I needed included to prepare my meals. The hospital was a less than 10. Minutes drive from my hotel. I would definitely stay at the landing again.

The condo itself was amazing as was the pool area. Communication and accessibility to get in the building and room were god awful. In the two days we were there, I spent over an hour on the phone with IT and couldn't reach the manager of the actual condo. The Latch app worked for 5 minutes at a time before forcing me to troubleshoot. I probably changed the password over a dozen times in the two days just to get in the building or room. Super frustrating!

Great experience! I was concerned about no body being onsite, with my friend coming in on Friday afternoon. The room wasn’t ready by 5, as it was still being cleaned, but the management team was quick to respond back and the cleaning staff was very thorough and pleasant. Staff checked in several times throughout the weekend. Will do again.

I didn’t like that there was only half a roll of toilet paper, and I believe as a courtesy there should have been some water. I also don’t like that the bed was so close to the door. The place was clean though.

Trying to find the building was hard. Did not receive instructions on everything until late. Upon arrival unit only had one(1) towel,1 hand towel and 1 dish towel and no wash rags for 4 people. Received extra towels very late on the last day staying at the unit. Very unsatisfied with response of people and rude people to talk to.

I could hear the footsteps from above unit. I complained to Mgmt and they texted the unit. Nothing changed - so I asked to be moved. No response from Mgmt. My 3-day stay was interrupted constantly by the above noise.

The apartment had no hot water for the entirety of the stay, and the water pressure was extremely low. I called the number provided and received a recording directing me to enter a maintenance ticket online. After that I did that, I texted the other number provided. I was told to run the water for a while to let it heat up. "That is how it is. Too many people running hot water" The water never heated up. I reported back the next morning, and again told to just let the water run. I send another text voicing my displeasure, and I received no further communication after that. This was my third stay with The Landing, but I will most likely never book with them again. Too bad too because otherwise this property would have received an excellent rating. I'm very disappointed at how this trip-defining problem was handled.

Just stay at an extended stay to save the headache
From the beginning it was a total disaster! I only chose to stay at this property due to their advertising and beautiful pool area. That was not present in the building I was placed in. The property sent a message providing me information about saying that if I needed any help, “don’t hesitate to reach out to the onsite manager…”. Check in time is at 5pm. The “onsite manager” gets off at 5pm. I made several calls and sent messages. I got no assistance. I had to call the maintenance emergency number to get help. I arrived 15 mins prior to 5pm and didn’t gain access to the building or my room until after 6:30pm. At first glance, I began to feel better. Everything one would need was present. Then I closely examined things. There were dirty knives in the butcher block, the table was uncleaned, the carpet was black nasty, and the couch and throw pillows were filthy. I understand that everyone/company wants to be high tech and advanced but having to download apps to gain entry to the building and the rooms is ridiculous!!! It would be better to have the conventional guest desk with an employee present. Suppose someone’s phone dies while they are out? There would be no way to gain access to your room! There use to be a thing called customer service. When did customer service become the customer serving themselves? The only good thing about my stay was the size of the room. My daughter had her area in the den and I had the “bedroom”. Which by the way was in in front of door! YUK!!!
