Good short break

Celeste right in the centre of all bars & restaurants. Nice apartment on 1st floor but considering it was a 2 bedroom it was short on seating in the lounge area, only a 2 seater settee no chair. Luckily there were just 2 of us so it was ok. Front patio area never in sun, back patio good. The cleaning staff were excellent & changed towels regularly as well as cleaning. Reception were very polite & helpful. Will be back it good value for money

Celeste apartments is a great place to stay great staff very friendly welcoming and helpful a little outdated but we could see they are working on it really enjoyed it.

Great Value for money

3 couples went for some winter sun and I have to say we had a great time, these apartments are real value for money. Great location and spotlessly clean. The facilities are by no means 5 star but I couldnt ask for more

Central location, with beach nearby and easy access to cafes/bars/restaurants. Swimming pool small & not many sunbeds around it, always reserved by towels first thing in morning. Apartments basic but have all you need, bring own hair dryer or you can hire from reception. Safe available to hire €2.50 a day. Cleanliness is to a high standard! Staff are very friendly and work hard. If poor mobility request ground floor, as lots of steps up to first floor apartments.

Always book the Celeste, it is great value for money, very clean and services well by housekeeping and reception staff. We stayed in the superior block 2 area which are refurbished apartments. They provide everything we need. Pay extra for safe, iron and hairdryer if required. There’s a laundry to do a self wash and dry if you need it. Very central, close to two supermarkets, several bars and dining places and a 5 min walk to the square. Can recommend if you want self catering

Amazing!

The apartment had everything I needed except an iron and ironing board but I was able to hire them from reception for €10 for the week. The cleaning staff were amazing everyday. The block I was in was quiet with a lovely pool. Couldn’t fault it at all and would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Lovely clean rooms. Stayed in block one slightly dated furniture but cleaned every 2 days and reception staff were lovely. Block one’s pool was a sun trap, fab for sitting in all day. Plenty around hotel for eating and drinking, as well as supermarkets close by too. Beach right on door stop as well as local transport and taxi rank.

We had an apartment in block 1 with a huge balcony which looked out to the sea. We didn’t have the upgraded apartments but they were still comfortable. There’s not much room around the pool in block 1. Lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby

Great stay

Very good stay. The apartment was basic but working in every aspect, cosy and comfortable, and was cleaned every day. We asked for a double bed and found sable beds, but did not constitute a problem at all after unifying them. The reception was very helpful and incredibly nice. The position is fantastic for exploring the entire island, the car park is very good and all around you can find places for eating and drinking of any sort.

Good, but could improve with a few changes

Air conditioning would have improved the comfort of the apartment, or at least the provision of fans (although available at a charge). Unfortunately hit by the sun bed grabbers who were up around 8 / 8.30 then failed on occasions not to appear for the day. with limited beds in block 2, was infuriating. Very clean and close to the resort centre so may consider in the future.

Fabulous apartment for a family of four. Only niggle was the lack of sunbeds. Guests would place towels on the sunbeds early in the morning to reserve them for the whole day. We didn't get a chance to sun ourselves around the pool. I think the management should introduce a policy to prevent this happening. We did however have two lovely sun terraces in the apartment. with a table and chairs

Ok for the money

Generally pretty good for the money, we had our own very private terrace, room was clean, kitchen well stocked. Overall our room was pretty dated and tired, cracked tiles everywhere, aged decor, small uncomfortable beds, lounge was ok, bathroom a bit tired, shower was a hot dribble, but always a good temperature. Our pool was freezing (early March), but a minute and a halves walk away you can use the heated pool in the centre block (no.2). The rooms in this area looked to be far more modern and generally better. If we came again would consider paying more and staying in this block. Kitty's bar is just around the corner, they have very loud karaoke, this might be your thing, alas not ours. Some really nice fairly up market restaurants a few minutes walk away and apartments right on top of the beach area, excellent location! Free parking everywhere.
