Everything you’d want! Cheap and cheerful all inclusive with actual decent food and variety! Pool area lovely rooms spacious and clean. Entertainment looked fun and thought out plus day time activities. Staff friendly and welcoming - would stay again and recommend but you need a car to get around!

We had a lovely holiday. We particularly liked the quieter pool area and the beach near by. Staff was helpfull and rooms was bigger than expected. One thing that let the experience down was the dining. Plates and glasses were dirty and restaurant feelt more like a school canteen. We payed for all inclusive but opted to eat out a few meals to have a over all better experience. If they sort food quality and cleanliness in restaurants it would be much better. Over all oki.

A very nice complex with excellent staff and service and it is kept clean and tidy. The food and dining was good but it did deteriorate a little towards the end of our week as it got closer to the hotel closing at the end of the season.

Three star family hotel

Family place with lots of people and children. Mostly (young) family oriented. A bit mass production feel to the apartment) hotel. Nice apartment but a bit noisy from neighbours if you live on ground floor.

We love everything. We booked the hotel for the second time because we liked it so much! We liked our room, the way we were treated, the buffet, the attention of the staff. Very well managed. We will definitely be back next year. ☀️

We have found coca roach in the room when we arrived on the first day. The room was a bit stinky, like in an old house. Furniture was quite outdated, however bed was fine. Breakfast ok, nothing special. Hotel is quite far from the most beautiful areas of the island. Beach in the village is very small and not organized.

Welcomed by judgemental reception staff, relatively out dated facilities and very bland buffet and other food options. Could only see this working if you’re only really planning on sleeping there. My toddler got several cuts on her feet, seems the pool was not safest. Saw others with cuts too.

Canutells break

Booked room only, but option to upgrade to breakfast or All inclusive, check in was very easy & straightforward. Room was spacious and and clean, there were a few ants on the floor near the window but nothing to worry about. I had a room without a balcony, and the air conditioner was not working, as I was only staying a few days it didn’t bother me.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grupotel Mar de Menorca for our family vacations with our 1 year old baby. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, there are parking spots close to the rooms, the pool area and playground was super nice, and the breakfast and dinner buffet was good and diverse. We could find everything for our baby: even though the baby crib was not ready in our room despite my request for one, they provided one pretty quickly, and there were high-chairs at the restaurant. The staff was also very nice and welcoming. And there is a supermarket and a beach just next to the hotel. The only negative point if I have to find one is the music going on all evening, but it was ok we couldn't hear it inside the room.

Has potential but average property and needs TLC. Food was really disappointing and even though you don't expect high level cuisine from an all-inclusive, it was really on the poor side with basic options mostly overcooked or re-used. Housekeeping only came once and we were told we would be charged to refresh/change the pools towels. We asked for this once during an 1 week stay and thought this was a particular stingy policy. All in all, average hotel, location, food. Staff was friendly, nice as always.

This is a lovely hotel, which was perfect for my first family holiday. From the start the front desk were very welcoming and even upgraded my room, which helped us as a young family. The food options were fantastic. We could eat as healthy or unhealthy as we wanted and the chefs/servers were very friendly. All the staff in the restaurant were very happy. There are two nice pools, one quiet pool for those that wanted to relax. We stayed around the bigger pool, which had shallow ends for our children and a deeper part in case we wanted a swim. They big pool also had music and an Animación team, running regular games for adults and children. They run kids clubs for several hours a day for 4yr olds and above. This was great for us to leave our 4yr old for a few hours break!! The evening entertainment was good fun too and no pressure also. Our suggestion for improvement would be to have fresh smoothies made at meal times and to have tea and coffee in the dining room at lunchtime and dinner. We would definitely recommend this hotel to families and couples.

Once we arrived at our room, we noticed that one of the towels was dirty and the garbage can in the kitchen was not emptied yet. The phone and tv were not working. As soon as I mentioned it to the front desk, they helped us with the towel and the bin and the following day with the tv but the phone was never fixed. By preference, we consider that this hotel has to remove the small soap bars and include liquid hand soap for the vanity instead. The menu at the place did not offer the typical food from Menorca. Luckily we did not purchase the all inclusive option because we were able to drive to nearby cities to eat great. One of our great decisions was to rent a car so we can go around the island to know the different attractions the island has to offer. The service desk personal were so eager to work out complaints. We would pay more for another place should we decide to comeback to Menorca which has a lot to offer to the tourist.

Overall good

Overall, everything was good! Place was clean and tidy and the pools were fabulous and always plenty of sunbeds absolutely no need to play the lounger/towels game at all. Beds were comfortable (pillows not so much). Can’t comment on food as we didn’t take out a package although drinks were very reasonably priced! The main disappointment, for us, was the ‘kitchen’ - we booked this as we wanted to cater for ourselves and to say that the supplies were minimal is a understatement - 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 spoons/teaspoons and a bread knife plus a couple of large plastic spoons! No kitchen knife or any other cooking implements which made preparing food challenging - it was in a small corner and lighting above hob (2 rings) didn’t work. I presume that they don’t really want to encourage you to cater fir yourself! The living room ‘sofas’ were essentially two single beds which would have been comfortable to sleep on but not for sitting on! The beach is barely a beach to be honest so we were glad we hired a car and there was no literature in the room with any information about what hotel offered or places to go. All in all we had a good week although I think for a couple we might have been better looking for something a bit quieter and better equipped for self catering.
