Wonderful place to stay for our little getaway, the pool and the hot tub were perfectly heated and the fun center was a great added bonus for the day we spent inside because of the rain.

A fun family getaway

We loved our stay! Plenty of room (we had four bedrooms) and loved the pool and grills. If the sofas were a little more comfy and the TVs were all upgraded to large flat screen smart TVs it would be amazing!

This was a very beautiful place to stay! It was last minute for us as we were traveling and didn’t want to stay in Salt Lake City. We are so glad we chose to stay her it was so nice and the service was so good the gentleman who checked us in even super late was so nice!

Our suite was spacious but very outdated and dingy. The master bedroom was hot and never really cooled down. Instead of replacing the old tile and grout flooring they just splashed some ultra high gloss sealant over it, which looks and feels gross. The hallways are dark and creepy, per my three-year-old. We did enjoy the pool at the Wyndham resort next door, since the Miners club was having theirs resurfaced. Overall the stay was fine, but I don't think we'll be back.

Loved the resort, it was perfect for our big group of 6 adults. The hot tub was huge! The only issue was the parking garage was very small and full. We will definitely be returning.

Great hotel, horrible parking

We really enjoyed staying at the Miner's Club. There are so many fun amenities! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the parking. We got a 3 bedroom room for two families to stay together during our family reunion. We could only park one car in the garage and then had to find a lot off site for the other car. It made it hard to go anywhere, because we always had to keep running to get the other car.

Cancelled my room

the stay was great, although one of the toilets wouldn't flush and the sinks drained very slow. I booked the condo for Nov and the hotel just cancelled my room saying there were going to be in a renovation. I am bugged that they just cancelled me without finding another room or doing anything to accommodate me especially since I stay here a lot.

We booked a 4 bedroom apartment and it was a really good apartment for our group. It had all the facilities and plenty of room for our large group, 4 spacious bedrooms and 4 spacious bathrooms. Overall, it was an extremely comfortable apartment just like our home. The front desk representative were very friendly and helpful. Some areas where they can improve: 1. Kitchen utensils for cooking are very thin and they will burn the food. Teflon coating is wearing off. Recommend to include good quality kitchen utensils. 2. Our reservation was for a group of 9 and they gave wi-fi access to only 5. In this day and age, the internet is needed for all folks on the reservation.

We’ve stayed several times at the Miner’s Club and we’ll continue to go back. While it’s located slightly away from shopping and restaurants, it’s within easy driving distance of everything. The location is quiet and it has many wonderful amenities. We especially enjoy the pool, game room, and theater. Some of the finishes could use updating, but we’re willing to look past those minor issues in exchange for the budget-friendly cost and convenience. We usually reserve the 4-bedroom unit which is very spacious, so there is room to gather while also allowing people to have privacy, if they want it. The staff is friendly and responsive to requests. I appreciate that the hotel provides courtesy items, including salt and pepper, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, and sponges, so you have everything you need for a home-away-from-home experience.

We mostly liked this place, but front desk could be a bit more flexible. We booked through Expedia and had confirmation that check out was at 11am. We made plans around that, but tried getting late check out anyway so we aren’t in a rush leaving. Not only could we not get late check out, they said we had to leave by 10:30. They said 10 is their checkout, however, we had confirmation with checkout time at 11. They wouldn’t budge. That arrangement between the hotel and Expedia should be their problem, not the paying guests problem. Besides that, the hotel and rooms aren’t the newest, but it is very spacious and comfortable except the super old mattresses that feel like water beds. Still worth the stay! It is great for large groups or families. It has a small theater you can reserve and have length of games for entertainment.

Disappointing

When we first got there there was broken glass on the floor, my friend stepped on it and got cut. We got a band aid from the front desk and they didn’t seem to care. Then we were supposed to only have twins in one of the rooms and there were twins in two of them. Which is awkward when you’re splitting up rooms between adults and one person is going to get shafted with the two twin room. Then I was setting up the sofa bed for my child and there was a piece of metal sticking out of the couch that sliced me up. Again, I brought this up with the hotel and they could not care less. It just didn’t meet my expectations. I booked this as a relaxing Mother’s Day weekend getaway and it just did not meet my expectations.

Great location by the Frostwood gondola to Orange Bubble Express lift. Truly ski in and out. Three issues were: our adult children (all with the same last name) were not allowed to check in until we arrived. They started charging a ridiculous $280 to park a second car in the empty garage for the week. We also got WiFi access for only six devices despite having a 4 bedroom apartment for 10 people. Otherwise a great time was had by all

The Miners Club is a hidden gem in Canyon Village. We stayed in a three bedroom three baths two levels unit. We love the location, right next to the Frostwood gondola that will take you to the Orange Lift seamlessly. Rooms are big, beds are comfy. Full size kitchen with fully stocked cooking gears. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor heated pool every day after skiing. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful.
