オンザビーチの、フレンドリーホテル

オンザビーチのフレンドリーホテルです。本当にオンザビーチすぎて、入口が砂浜にあり、驚きましたが。スタッフはみんな優しくていいかたばかりでした。隣のホテルのクラブミュージックがいい感じでした。毎日のベッドメーキングも可愛かったです。 1つだけ、必ずオーシャンフロントを予約したほうが良い。指定しないと、窓のない、薄暗い、部屋があり危険です。前の海までは裸足で行けますが、岩が多く泳ぐのには適していません。

Travel disruptions left us needing a room last minute and later at night. Check in was fine and the room was a great end to our chaotic day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Playa del Carmen.

The property was very clean, it was close to the beach, and we got excellent service all day long on the beach. Darien took very good care of us.

The place is clean and nice, but the card (key) didn't work I could not go to sleep until late then the next day they forgot to save me a beach chair that was only for International tourist . 😡

VERY loud

We were not able able to check in until after 5pm, after which point the Luciana reception was gone for the day. Unfortunately at approx 6pm we checked in through the adjacent hotel, and our room vibrated and reverberated because of the adjacent parties and people yelling and partying next door. We were told this was only going to get worse but that there was nothing that could be done or accommated until possibly the next day. The sound was so potent my phone shook off the table.

This is the hotel we chose to stay after a terrible night at another place. This place was formerly Playa Maya Beach Hotel that we have stayed at before. The rooms do need upgrading which I think they are doing slowly. Bed was ok but somewhat hard. Staff mostly spoke Spanish but food and service was excellent! The chef Victor went out of his way to cook whatever you wanted and it was most excellent. The best is that it is right on the beach and they have very comfortable beach chairs and beds! There are a few stairs to contend with but all in all, I would stay here again! They were installing new refrigerators when we left.

Difícil de accesar, sucia, ruidosa, INSEGURA, inadecuada, contraté 6 noches, pasamos solo una noche sin devolverme el resto de las estancias, solo el personal atento. Deberían revisar la puntuación que le dan y que sea real. Viajo unas 5 veces al año con su agencia o con Hoteles que pertenecen al mismo grupo, deberían tener consideración.

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at Playa Maya. We got to the hotel a little late, but was greeted by Marvin (I believe he's night time security) who helped us to our room. The hotel doesn't have a street entrance so you must walk through the beach, which was fine, we're at the beach anyway! They provide fresh water for the rooms and ours was cleaned nicely everyday. We have nothing but good things to say about this property. Our favorite person was Marvin. He carried great conversations with my husband and I and suggested many fun things for us to check out. The breakfast was good and the hospitality was even better. We will be back!

Run-down and overpriced

Entrance is difficult to find so call upon arrival. Website listing is inaccurate; the room was very run-down, uncomfortable and with bare bones amenities. The main light was burned out, the closet had no hangers, the safe was broken and unusable, no fridge, a coffee maker without coffee or cups and the only toiletry provided was shampoo through a soap dispenser. The hot water ran out after one minute and the bed was old and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. That being said, the staff was amazing!! and it's a great location. The a/c worked well...

No pude entrar a la propiedad ya que llegue a las 9:00 de la noche y no se podia acceder al lugar mas que solo por la playa, caminamos por un lado y la marea estaba arriba y no pudimos pasar, caminamos por detras de la Propiedad con maletas y niños para poder ir a la otra esquina y poder acceder pero nos fue inposible ya que en la esquina tenian un show de lumbre en la playa y los del bar no nos dejaron pasar porque traiamos maletas asi que decidimos ir a ospedarnos a otro lugar. Nota, no lo recomiendo si van con niños ya que en la noche la gente se pone fuera del hotel y fuma marihuana y la marea sube y aparte el agua huele muy mal

Rommet var comfy og det var rolig om natten. Betjeningen i frokost-restauranten var veldig hyggelig. Fikk gratis sen utsjekk (over 1 time senere). Stor TAKK går til Catherine i resepsjonen til PlayaMaya !

The property needs a direct access from Calle 8 NTE and not to have your shoes wet by the ocean while accessing the hotel by the beach - the rest was fine and the management are excellent people and very hospitable
