The staff was warm, smiley, and courteous. There was an issue with the room, and it was handled quickly and efficiently. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel owner was a pleasant person who came to talk with us, gave us tips on where to travel, and asked for our suggestions on how to improve the hospitality. It was definitely an excellent experience in Crete, and we will surely return there next time.

We arrived very late but our host was still here to greet us and show us to our room. The rooms are really spacious like apartments and have everything you need. They are also extremely sound proof. Nice balcony with seating and a clothes rack. Everything is included, wifi, air conditioning, breakfast and use of pool. House keeping every day with a total refresh every third day The owner is at the property most days and comes for a chat to ensure everything is ok. Breakfast is freshly cooked everyday and there is lots of choice. The bar is open until 1am for snacks and drinks - hot and cold and they also have an ice cream bar. The hotel is ocean front and a short walk from the harbour where the locals swim, it’s absolutely beautiful. The hotel is not far from the village, bars and restaurants. The whole complex is kept stunning and they provide showers for the pool which is nice. They also allowed us to hang around for the day after we checked out for a late flight, full use of the pool etc and looked after our bags. Catherine on reception pointed us in the direction of cool amenities. They also have paddle boards for guests free of charge and you can hire electric bikes from reception.

Very welcoming hotel

We stayed here at the very start of the season and virtually had the place to ourselves. We had a great room overlooking the pool and seashore. The room was a suite with separate bedroom and living room (though no kitchen if this what you're looking for). We had lovely al fresco breakfasts outside our room each morning. The welcome was great with Easter bread and eggs as we arrived and helpfulness every morning. The only concern would be the size of the pool area when the hotel is full in high season

Very nice hotel!

This was a very nice hotel! It has a nice pool and a basic but good breakfast. It was easy for us to check in and out, even though we arrived and left very late at night. It is a bit smaller then some of the other hotels around, but that was a positive thing though it was calmer with less screaming children around the poolarea and more familiarly.

Holiday

Warm welcome when we arrived and helpful. Lovely suite and a big room on ground floor as requested as I am disabled. Spotlessly clean. Nice seating area for drinks and Breakfast. I don't eat Breakfast but it looked very nice. Nice swimming pool. Very pretty place right by the sea. I will return again.

Mooie, rustige locatie

Vriendelijke mensen. Lekker eten. Tweepersoonsbed was erg hard.

Pleasant stay

We had a good stay at Koutrakis suites. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were large and comfortable. Rooms cleaned daily. Air conditioning, nice large balcony. The location had a 1metre deep pool near the ocean with bar close by. If you were after a relaxing holiday this would be a great place, it is very quiet. If you wanted to go exploring you would definitely need a car.
