Awesome place to stay. A short walk to the foreshore and shopping. The bed was super comfy and big. The room itself was huge, the kitchen space had all you needed and the bathroom was perfect. We stayed three nights and the only downer was you didn’t get fresh towels everyday.

If you like sleeping in as a part of your holiday, this place is not recommended. A gardener was operating very loud tools at about 8am until 10am. Because of the way the unit is laid out, his tools and truck were directly outside the window and literally about 2 metres from my resting head, although it would have affected every other guest too as the noise was incredibly loud. He was only conducting basic maintenance (trimming pants, blowing leaves, power washing bins, etc) so I really don't know why it couldn't have been done at a more considerate time. Either way, our comfort as a guest was not taken into consideration.

This place has gorgeous styling and was super clean, modern and comfortable. Thoughtful inclusions like luxe teabags and toiletries made it feel extra special. There was a little road noise due to the location near a hospital but it felt safe and we still slept well. It was a short walk down to the Geelong waterfront - a great spot for some low key evening relaxation. A delightful place to launch our Great Ocean Road adventures.

Lovely spot. Our room was very clean and much bigger than we expected with 2 spacious bedrooms each with a large bathroom. Loved the bright decor and beautiful bathroom products. The kitchenettes were well stocked and we had everything we needed. Easy private parking and great location.

I would not recommend this property for a female travelling alone. The latch on the inside of the door was broken so it felt unsafe. Also the curtains in the bathroom were broken so anyone could look in when I was showering. The view out the back window was over an empty lot. Also, I understand outside of the owners control but renovations happening nearby which kept me up. I believe these will be going on for some months. Also some minor cleanliness issues - a stain on the bedspread and sticky patches on the kitchen floor. I booked 2 nights but left after one night due to not feeling safe/ private.

It's a excellent place to stay. It's Tidy, big bathroom, good location, easy parking, easy check-in, well decorated, and good size. The only one down thing is the curtains need to be closed at all time for privacy. The window is facing to the main street and the fence is to low for walk by pedestrian to see through.

Convenient Location

Our first one night stay at Anchor Geelong. Excellent communication from off site manager prior to arrival. Entry is at front of property rather than from the free on-site carpark. Very bright modern, spacious and comfortable room and King bed with quality amenities throughout. Kitchenette included portable electric hotplate, dishwasher and full size fridge. lounge couch and large screen tv. Managed the electronic door lock with PIN number. No wardrobe as such but plenty of hooks around the room (coat hangers in the big trunk with spare blankets). Work space for laptop available if required. Noise from street traffic and adjacent hospital construction site not too intrusive. Recommended.

My husband and I love this property. We have used it 3 times now when in Geelong. It feels fresh and clean in the units, close to the main area of Geelong with off street parking. We would definitely be using this accommodation again in the future. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay with top quality products and decor. Coms excellent and even though a little noisy due to road works and nearby hospital, this is outside their control. Excellent all round. Particularly ‘Sheens’ from house keeping!!

Stayed here for six days whilst visiting family. The room was quite spacious and very comfortable .Everything appeared relatively new and had everything you needed for a stay over. Very comfortable bed Highly recommend. 7/11 a quick walk away and Geelong city/ Eastern Beach, 10 mins easy walk Would definitely stay here again
