Excellent option in PD for a small apartment. Stayed here three times now. Staff friendly. Close to the city centre but quiet and clean. This time we were sad that the resident cat was removed from the garden, it was friendly and made the place feel like home from home. The hot water supply could be a bit hotter. But overall it’s a great accommodation option with great people. And a really cute breakfast basket delivered each day.

La struttura è bella e ben ristrutturata in te ma ‘antica scuola per bambini’, vicina al centro. L’area relax (piscina molto piccola) sufficiente ma c’è molto di meglio nei dintorni allo stesso prezzo. Stessa valutazione per la colazione: poiché non c’è un’area colazione viene fornita in un bel cesto davanti alla camera al mattino. Penso che al prezzo di vendita della camera (2100 euro per 7 notti per 3 persone in agosto) sarebbe stato meglio avere una vera area colazione con la possibilità di scegliere tipo di cibo e quantità. Se avete un’auto nei dintorni è molto difficile trovare da parcheggiare. Peraltro la vicinanza al centro è molto comoda e il panificio sempre aperto davanti alla porta della struttura ti permette di prendere facilmente qualcosa se la colazione non ti ha soddisfatto. Signorina della reception molto gentile, manager della struttura per niente. Gattone del giardino veramente dolce ed affettuoso. Andateci se avrete un’offerta minore altrimenti cercate nei dintorni, allo stesso prezzo due classi superiori.

Staff was lovely and helpful. Accomodations were exactly as shown and very comfortable. Great bed and pillows. Furniture like new inside the room, in lobby and outdoors. Were able to safely store our luggage uppon arrival before chek-in. Free coffee available all day is a plus! We loved the neighbourhood; easy to walk to all main attractions of Ponta Delgada which is a very walkable and safe city. Quiet at night eventhough bedroom window on the street. Great padaria (bakery) next door. Loved the area around the plunge pool to relax and have a glass of wine. We had an issue with the electricity (breaker kept jumping when we plugged in the kettle) but when we reported they were quick to respond. Note there is no elevator. We had a very pleasant stay - highly recommend!

Second time around

We stayed here previously in a suite which was not available on this trip. We had a studio which was nice, but on top floor If I was even 5 years younger it would have been fine. Helpful with parking our rental. There is some free parking close by but it is by luck until 5 pm. Costs €4 to park over 24 hours, which isn’t bad. Lots of great restaurants close by.

Perfect all around!

Beautiful accommodations in a very walkable section of Ponta Delgada. Very friendly frond desk staff. The breakfast basket left at the door in the morning was over the top fantastic!

No laundry facilities available

Overall a good stay, the breakfast basket was amazing and fresh every morning. Not the best area for parking but there is street parking you can find. We found a spot every day and never had to walk more than a block or two. The only issue I had was that the hotel listing on hotels.com clearly states there is laundry available and there is not. We even checked with the front desk. This caused a snafu in our packing and made us have to spend a half day of our vacation finding a laundry mat to wash our clothes. Other than that the property was great

This is truly a fantastic place to stay. Stayed her with wife & 2 teenagers in March 2024. Honestly, it would be a mistake not to stay here to fully enjoy the city. Location is perfect, in the downtown centre of ponta Delgada, great for walking anywhere. Parking of course can be tricky during business hours , if you're looking for free close parking, but didn't cause much concern - paid parking is still close by and really reasonable, compared to north American standards. European style breakfast delivered to the door is great, with a good selection of fresh baked local breads, fruit, meat/cheese, yogurt, fresh juice & more, slightly different daily. Just wish there was a coffee machine in the room, rather than instant coffee and a kettle, but the espresso machine in the lobby is close by. Super helpful staff, Leticia at front desk is awesome, and even the resident cat in the garden treats everyone like they're his favourite person in the world. Pretty sure the cat's on the payroll. Thanks to everyone, we'll be back.
