Great value for money

Overall the hotel was pleasant and good value for money. However, we paid for a canal view room and I don't recommend doing so. The canal view was very underwhelming and the buildings adjacent appeared run down and derelict (absolutely no fault of the hotel). If you are looking for value for money this is it. If you are looking for a canal view like you see on tik tok - there's a reason those hotels are twice the cost

Excellent room in a great location.

Adorable hotel with the biggest room that we stayed in in five cities in Europe. Excellent location with access to everything we wanted to do. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. There is also a restaurant attached to this hotel where they serve breakfast for the guests. It was very nice.

The front desk staffs were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was hard to find because the hotel sign was not visible and small. All in all, we had enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel in our next visit.

Quiet, good air conditioning, and easy walk to most areas - about 20 mins to St Mark's Basilica I think. Lots of places to eat close by. We walked from the waterbus station Madonna Del Oro about 10 - 15 mins.

2 nights in Venice

We had a beautiful room with a canal view. Everything was clean and what was needed was there. They were kind enough let us stow our luggage there after check out until we head to the airport. The staff was all very kind and personable. Check in was confusing as have to go to a connecting hotels reception desk but that was our only minor problem.

I stayed here for a couple of days with my wife and family. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They even helped ship my wife's purse back that she forgot in their lobby on our way to the airport! The hotel was very clean and had a great history that the owner told us about as we were checking in. It was located in a great area that was close to great shops and restaurants, with a great view of one of the canals. I'd definitely stay here again!

Lives up to its name, Charming Palace!!

A little difficult to find, but had great help. The room was very nice and had a nice view of the canal and outside area. It rained in the evening and was nice to have the window open and enjoy the sounds of the rain. Staff was very helpful, wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is centrally located and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we experienced several issues. The fridge was broken and didn’t work, the bathroom tap leaked everywhere and a plumber needed to be called. There’s a ceiling light that can’t be turned off and the room we got had no natural light or windows so didn’t match the advertising.

Our room was more spacious than expected. We had the top floor room, which was perfect for our family of four. Like all of Venice, the building was very old and a large supporting beam ran through the shower. It was fine for us, but could be difficult for someone tall. The view of the canal and the small piazza below was incredible! We had eveything we needed and the location was perfect.

Magnifique logement et emplacement au top !

L'hôtel est un vieil édifice magnifiquement restauré, notre chambre était spacieuse, confortable et avec une vue sur le canal et la petite place ! La localisation permet d'arpenter directement les ruelles de Venise, des commerces/restaurants sont présents partout autour. La personne qui nous a accueilli était très sympathique et professionnelle.

The hotel was close to everything. The AC was turned off when we stayed there for two nights and we had to open the window as it was really hot. The other problem we encounter was the mosquitos. There were a lot of mosquitos at night. The hotel was really clean except that there’s no AC and since we had to open the window to have ventilation the mosquitos were coming in.

Bra standard för Venedig, härlig atmosfär.

Vänligt bemötande och kändes lite privat då vi inte såg några andra hotellgäster under två nätter i januari. Modern toalett och fint med kanalvy även om det just där färdades mest arbetsbåtar. Området kändes lite lugnare och oturistigt, lite mer lokalbefolkning. Perfekt ganska centralt men lite lugnare och mysigare område. Ok lätt att ta sig från tågstationen.

Expected breakfast with booking as multiple reviews noted. Charged additional tax at property that was unexpected. Very expensive for 1 night without any amenities. Beds, pillows and lines are awful. No screens for mosquitoes. Multiple bites all over my body. Uncomfortable stay. Check out time is too early at 10:00 a.m. Extremely noisy around property, garbage service and construction early morning. Other than canal view and baggage hold, I would not recommend.

Convenient location with all the amenities

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and bright. Definitely recommend a waterfront room.
