We really enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed all the bird life surrounding the property. The home was clean and very well appointed. Made our stay easy and peaceful.

Had a town 10 mins away with cute bakery and food options . Our stay was comfortable. We got to see northern lights 2 out 3 nights of our stay from the backyard . Good location to golden circle . We woke up early and got to the stops before the bus tours came in and it felt less crowded doing it that way.

What a beautiful cottage in the perfect spot to enjoy the Golden Circle plus some extras - make sure you look at the guest info book for ideas. The place was lovely and had everything we needed to eat in and enjoy being home in the middle of our Iceland trip. The bottle of champagne and the beautiful chocolate were such a welcoming touch. Thank you!

We stayed in four hotels during our trip to Iceland and this by far was the best! We had a two bedroom, two bathroom house with a hot tub. The house was very new and we had a ton of space. The kitchen was great and both bathrooms were large. The beds were very comfortable. The only drawback to this property is the location. There is a restaurant and mini-mart about 10 minutes away, but Selfoss is about a 20 minute drive.

The property was exactly as described and was a perfect base for us to explore the southeast of the island. We didn't have a single complaint during our stay and the one question we asked was promptly answered. The icing on the cake was watching the northern lights from the hot tub! We absolutely loved staying here. The location of the house was perfect for driving the Golden Circle. And we loved sitting in the hot tub looking for Northern Lights and star gazing. Also loved all of the oversized windows and mountain backdrop. Home and beds were warm and comfy! Perfect for our family! We wish we could stayed longer. Thank you so much! God bless!

This is a stellar property. It feels secluded but is central to many sites in the area. The property feels brand new, the beds are extremely comfortable and everything you need for cooking is available. On two nights we were able to see the Northern Lights from the property. This is place we could have stayed at for a lot longer and will be highly suggesting to friends and family in the future.

Wonderful property about 20 km (15-20 min) from Selfoss. Blackout shades worked well. Hot tub was quite nice after a day of hiking. Washer and dryer much appreciated (detergent also provided). Spacious and our family of 5 felt very comfortable.

House is beautiful; check in was easy; hosts very communicative. Location is close to lots of great sites, however, you do have to drive a bit if you want to eat in restaurants. Having said that, the house is fully equipped if you’d like to grocery shop and prepare your own food. Also, location is remote enough that we had a great viewing of the Northern Lights! That was spectacular.

Beautiful property! Hot tub was pre warmed for us. Spacious arrangements for 5 of us. Extra towels provided. Would have appreciated a microwave. Had to wash all dishes we used as lots of dishes were just a little dirty. Eco friendly washer/ dryer didn’t dry even a small load of towels after multiple cycles. Would definitely return! We saw the northern lights from right outside our house!

We loved everything about this property except for the extensive black mould and layers of scum build-up in both showers on the floors, walls and around the drains. The smell was nauseating and we felt uncomfortable using them. We emailed the host and got a very curt reply that they’d send a cleaner over. When we returned later in the day hoping for clean showers, we were very disappointed. A surface wipe had been done but they looked and smelled just as bad. Perhaps the same person who ‘cleaned’ them in the first place was sent back? We were just surprised at how stunning the place was, and then to have such bad cleaning standards? And also disappointing at the lack of care or interest from the host. Wish the photos could be uploaded here to show just how gross they were. Cleaning elsewhere was ok though and it really was a beautiful little place. It was a well stocked kitchen which we really appreciated.

Loved this place! Stayed here for one night at tail end of Golden Circle day and it was so nice to end up at a place that was spacious, had all the amenities and was in such an isolated beautiful place albeit with some neighbors in identical houses nearby. Was probably our favorite place to stay of the 6 we stayed in during our week in Iceland! Only ask would have been for the hot tub to be a bit hotter - was somewhat lukewarm and after a chilly day outside in the rain would have liked to have warmed it up a bit but was not able to adjust the controls. We did get a chocolate bar and bottle of champagne which was a great touch! Used the washer/dryer which came in handy. Would definitely stay again.
