The room was clean and the whole property is well taken care of. Much nicer than other places in this price range. It also has hot showers where as others might not. It also has a great view of Volcán Arenal.

The room was cleaned and easy check in. The view was breathtaking. Even though it was raining during our whole stay, it was nice to have a warm place to go to. I would stay again, I will just take more clothes since there is not place to dry your clothes if it rains and the humidity is so high that it won’t dry by itself. My personal hair dryer became very handy just to dry clothes.

Everything was very clean and nice and the property was very well taken care of. Staff checking us in was very nice and provided free transportation to the cabana as your check in is different location than property. Also allowed us time to shop for food for our room across the street. I was expecting the hot springs to be on site but was at another hotel it is also not free as it does seem to seem that way in the amenities section and did not show it was a extra charge. Would defiantly stay again and recommend but was really looking forward to the hot springs amenity but not that I had to pay extra.

Our check-in experience was fantastic, all the information was received in time a day before. We entered the property and located our room with 5 mins of entering the property. Everything is super safe and has fire alarm activated. Everything is digitalised. When we entered the room it was nice and clean great views. Peaceful. Until there was a power outrage at 7:00 PM. I was told that power outrage is normal in the area and it will be back in 1 hour. The worst part was everything was controlled digitally so the wifi was not working and main door access stopped working now we can not go out. I did not have any network in my room. So we came outside to whatsaap the host to tell them to open the main exit door. When we came after dinner the power was still out. We tried contacting the host but no network coverage. Later, I some how managed to contact Expedia and explained the situation. I am claustrophobic and I need air circulation in the room. We can not open the windows because there is no net. There are just glass window and since we are in a national park we can not just leave windows wide open like that. It took more an hour to resolve this issue. They asked me if I want to move to new hotel however, we did not want to move as our stuff was all over in the room and it was so dark to pack our stuff. our phone’s battery was dying. They end up refunding my money through Expedia cash. Over all experience was not great. I do understand the host can not do much about it.

One of the most beautiful locations for a hotel in the La Fortuna/Arenal area. The cabanas-style suite was very unique - beautiful and comfortable - we really felt at home and already miss it! It had great views of the volcano - especially first thing in the morning. The electronic gate onto the private property was secure and made us feel very safe. It is only a 4-5 minute drive from La Fortuna which made it very convenient for food and groceries. And 15-60 mins drive from other major attractions. We had a great time and the staff was extremely helpful, especially Alonso. He waited for us to do late check-in since we were coming in from San Jose. He also let us check-out late so we could make the most of our last day. He arranged our white water rafting adventure directly with the company, so it was hassle-free on our part. He was also great with communication and readily available on text/whatsapp so he could be reached any time we had a question. We would definitely recommend Cabanas Suenos del Arenal 100x over! You will love it!

El concepto muy bueno, las cabañas equipadas para sentirse como en casa, lejos del ruido pero muy cerca de supermercados, restarurants, en fin el lugar ideal.
