Stayed in the Kings Suite. The whole apartment was large, impressively renovated, clean and to a high standard. The beds were massive and really comfy. Nice to have a few bits provided on arrival - water, bottle of wine, tea and coffee - only thing missing was milk. Not too much of a hardship given there is a Spar shop on the corner of the street. Beautiful building. Just across the street from the museum 14 Henrietta Street. Felt a little guilty after our visit there as I would guess about 40+ would have occupied our apartment when it was a tenement!
A couple of things would have made it perfect. The mirrors were all far too high - very lovely, but not practical! The doors banged shut very loudly - perhaps consider soft closing doors or something to buffer the bangs - for other occupants as well as us. Addition of a tray and place mats / coasters would help in keeping the furniture nice - the dining table had awful marks from what we think must have been something hot placed directly on the table by previous occupants - such a shame.
The bathroom cabinets over the sinks are badly placed - found easily hit head in when washing and brushing teeth, if not very careful. WIFI was intermittent - frustrating.
Missed a welcome as there is no one on the premises to greet on arrival. It would be really nice if there was the facility to store baggage once checked out.
This is a fantastic way to stay in Dublin. It will definitely be our first choice when we return, no doubts,
