Eddie is the kind of host that makes a trip memorable. From the moment I arrived, he was welcoming and full of useful info about the city—he even treated me to a shot of rakija! While I was mostly in the room just to sleep, the overall experience was great, and I’ll definitely be back next time I visit. Viva Croatia, Eddie! (but tequila is still better).

The host, Edi, is a delight. Gave us a warm welcome and introduction to the city. He indicated great place to eat/grocery shop, all in walking distance; as well as touristic recommendations. We were able to leave our luggage in the gated courtyard until our departure. This establishment receives our highest recommendation.

We enjoyed our stay at Eddie's Sea View Rooms. We had two rooms and really liked the room with the kitchenette, it was helpful and there was also a clothes line which we used since it was so hot. Eddie had great recommendations for areas to avoid as well as places to eat that accommodated all budgets. Any time we saw him, he made sure we were doing well and answered our questions.

Perfect location and amazing host

We loved Eddie, warm welcome, super friendly and personable. Helpful with where to go and what to avoid in the city. Airport shuttle was perfect, waiting for us at arrivals with a sign and dropped us right outside of the guest house. Very centrally located, so when you stay in the summer you can outfit change or shower quit because it’s bananas hot and sweaty! Might even get a welcome drink with Eddie if you’re lucky :) Highly recommend!

The Best Hostel & Kindest Owner in Dubrovnik

Eddi is a GEM of a human! Not only is his hotel lovely, clean, and in a great location, he made our stay so comfortable and easy. He started by giving us a map of the city and showing us where the best restaurants are and at what times we should start our tours (i.e city walls and fortress). I could tell how much care Eddi puts into giving his guests a wonderful stay and it is so so appreciated to feel at ease when traveling. I will be recommending this accommodation to anyone going to Dubrovnik. Hands down, best place I’ve stayed in Europe. Thank you Eddi!!

ピレ門からすぐの好立地ですが、到着時は目印がないので少し迷いました（ミニスーパー横の小道を入るとわかりやすい）。 旧市街内の宿泊も便利ですが、部屋から海を眺めて過ごせるのがポイントです。シービューではない部屋もあるので予約時に注意してください。料金の割に部屋は手狭ですが、物価の高い大観光地なので仕方ないかと。 オーナーは親切で、おすすめレストランなど教えてくれました。

旧市街の観光地にとても近くにあり、観光、買い物、移動にとても便利な宿です。 部屋数も少なく良い意味でこじんまりしてます。 オーナーはフレンドリーで、最初に親切に説明してくれますが、後は干渉なく良い意味で放置してくれます。 入口がわかりにくいので注意。

夫婦でエディさんの人柄にひかれました。またエディさんに会いに行きたいくらいです。フレンドリーなナイスガイです。ドブロブニク市街のおすすめのレストランなど、親切に教えてくれました。併設のホステルは、若い人の利用が多いです。一般的なホテルでいうフロントロビーなどはないので、外出から帰ってきたら、ベルをならして人が開けにきてくれるのを待つ。電話で連絡できると楽。

Everything was amazing about the stay. Amazing location steps from both the old city and the water. Edi was a tremendous host always willing to help with recommendations or any help that we needed. Could not recommend more.

Eddie was very accommodating when I arrived earlier than expected. He gave me a quick run down and checked in with me to see if I am doing okay a couple days later which I thought was nice. The room was wonderful and clean and had a great view. I stayed on the second floor and it was a little annoying to hear the people above on the 3rd floor stomping around their room. Other than that it was a great stay.

Eddie was an excellent host. He communicated before we arrived, offered airport shuttle, and ensured our room was ready when we arrived. He spent a few minutes with us to highlight local attractions and restaurants. His location just outside the Pile gate was great, local buses just outside his hotel. Given the location ‘close to the action’, our stay was very quiet. Great stay!
