Great stay with an infant

Had a pleasent week long stay at the property, which is just 2 minutes walk from the beach. very convenient to rome around Lagos from the property, only 7 min drive to the old town filled with resturants bars and gift shops. Uber eat works great. They have private parking, but the outdoor parking is more convinent and was also safe.

The apartment was comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the pictures of the balconies shown on Expedia were very deceiving. The building next door is old, abandoned, and full of graffiti. That was the view we had out of our windows. I was very disappointed to have paid so much for this property. Such a disappointing view.

Great location, right next to one of the nicest beaches in town. Easy walk to a lot of great places to eat and a wonderful old town area. Pleasantly surprised by the apartment style and size.

Love every thing about it. Two minutes walk to the beach. 10 minutes walk to the grocery shop. 15 to 20 minutes walk to old town and Marina. You stay in a nice apartment with all hotel service. The best asset of this hotel is Venessa,From the moment we arrived, Vanessa greeted us with smile. She was incredibly helpful with everything—from recommending excellent restaurants and tours to making sure we had everything we needed. Her kindness, professionalism, and care made us feel not just like guests, but like family.

I booked a complete suite with washer and dryer and it did not have any . Nor did it have an iron in the room . Had to ask for one I left and still did not get it . Luckily for me I brought one with me !

This property was not for us, just based on personal preferences. If you are going to focus on spending time at the beach, cooking at the “hotel” (it’s more like an apartment), and not going to the center of the city often, then this would be a good choice. Many reviews mentioned that the center of the city is a 15-20 minute walk - which is true, but when it’s 80% humidity it’s not enjoyable (for us at least), and it’s not a flat walk (for those who this is an issue). The grocery store is about that far as well. You can take Ubers/bolts, but it gets tiresome. If you like the hotel experience (a restaurant, bar, 24/7 conse, walking out and having cafes and restaurants, 24/7

Incredible view and large suite

Amazing view and wrap around balcony made me wish we had stayed longer than one night. Very large and spacious room with air conditioning. Downside was that we found some ants living in the kitchen near the floor, but since we were out of the room a lot this was not really a problem.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Villa Doris suites! Every staff member we spoke with was so kind and helpful! The hotel is just a 2 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. The room itself was large and spacious as well as squeaky clean! Peoples reviews mention the abandoned building next door; this was a non-issue for us. Abandoned buildings are ALL over Portugal and not uncommon in the least. When we were visiting there was only someone at reception from 10 am to 6 pm so if you needed something outside of those hours you would have to contact another property, but we never needed that. Most restaurants and the center of town is a short 15 minute of a 4 euro uber ride (we did both.) We also ordered food to our place using Glovo. I could hear when someone moved chairs in the apartment above us, buy overall peaceful and quiet. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Location is beautiful. I thought i had reserved room w view. They kindly moved me to a room w a view w a small addl fee. Its not their fault ...there is a large empty bldg next door but that did not bother us or affect our stay in any way. Within walking distance to beach, boardwalk, and lil grocery store. We even walked to town within apx 15 mins. Room was very nice and clean. Loved it. Would stay again!!

We enjoyed our stay. Our unit was very clean, modern, spacious and the air quality inside the room felt very fresh. This building is under renovation which makes the appearance unattractive from the outside. But the renovated side looks nice. Because of the renovations, this property does not currently provide some amenities that other places offer. They do not have food service or a restaurant. If you prefer pools, they currently only have a very small pool but they offer access to a larger pool at another location nearby. We didn’t check it out. The property is a 3 min walk to the beach and a 15 min walk to the town centre that has many restaurants and shops. You can also Uber for a very reasonable rate. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place.

The property itself was OK, but the hotel being connected to an old derelict building made the view from the balcony extremely unpleasant. The photos on Expedia conveniently cut out the derelict building, which was very misleading. In addition, the staff were not very helpful when we tried to change to the same level of room, but on a different floor. Also, the price they tried to charge for moving to a sea view room was unreasonably high, and I found out later on that the price was much higher than advertised on their website.
