Great overnight stay

Ideal for the train which is a short walk away and great accommodation. Looks recently refurbished and the room was well equipped, comfortable and very clean.

No service 2nd night stay

Truth is i stay here regularly almost every week at times but just for 1 night. I would be staying 2 nights a week for the next 7 months however i stayed 2 nights last week and the room is not serviced the 2nd night, i like getting the 2 bottles of water and 2 biscuits its what makes it that bit special, coming into an unmade bed and towels , well thats ok but the water and the biscuits they have saved on the laundry surely the wee extras could be done!!!

Beautiful and clean accommodation! Was exactly as pictured and the beds/pillows were so comfortable it made it hard to leave! Restaurants and grocery stores close by. Free parking on site.

Comfortable and clean

We are very pleased to find the room was extremely clean, comfortable and had the small things we required such as soap, shower gel, lotion, cutlery, microwave and a lot of fridge space with two bc old water bottles ready. The bed was very comfortable we slept very well. Would recommend!

This is our 2nd time here. Lovely apartment, lots of steps though. No toaster in room, would be ideal for a breakfast before departure. Huge comfy bed. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend excellent stay

Execellent apartment couldnt fault it, very clean, everything in good working order. In a pleasant safe area, will certainly be returning. Nice scottish touch with the tunnocks caramel wafer biscuits, hame fra hame for two scots! Kitchenette was great and all plates and cutlery very clean. Supplied dish washing equipment so no need to buy anything. Easy to açess with code and great communication regarding the booking before and after. Was also very easy to add the extra charge for bringing a dog. Whole experience was stressless and easy couldnt ask or want for more than that. Very well done to all the staff from the admin to the cleaners good working team

Noise, noise and more noise

Fortunately, I only stayed for one night. The studio was adequately furnished and clean. However, the reason for the low score is that the door to the room did not fit tightly to the frame, allowing light from the hallway to come through. I could hear the people above me every time they moved around, as well as every conversation on the stairs and landing. While I'm sure the other apartments in the building are equally nice, the location seemed to attract unsavory characters. From around 10:00 pm, there was a lot of activity in the communal hallway, mostly men entering and leaving the premises. At 2:00 am, a man started shouting, swearing, and banging on the door with some kind of instrument. By 2:30 am, another neighbor asked him to be quiet, and he apologized, albeit with frequent swearing. I called the manager to complain, and by 3:00 am, it finally went quiet. Needless to say, I did not get any sleep and did not feel safe. Despite the signs in the hallway warning that CCTV cameras were in operation, it seemed they were not monitored, as the manager asked me what was happening. Next time, I will stay in a hotel!

This place was extremely clean and extremely easy to access. The only issue I could see would be for someone who did not have connection to their email. The only one small issue I had was that the shower surround leaked in the corner.

Good enough but some reservations.

A convenient location for Central Scotland’s motorway and train network (a few minutes drive from J6 of the M74 and a short stroll to Motherwell train station). We expected more of an apartment experience - whilst there was a fridge and microwave there was nowhere to eat (low armchairs and a lower coffee table don’t cut it!). During a rare hot spell in Scotland we were surprised to (eventually) discover that the radiator was on but not before we had reacted by removing the 10.5 tog duvet from its cover! Big mistake as it was a bio-hazard with blood and other stains all over it (we told ourselves it was coffee and juice!). The shower was excellent with plenty of high-pressured hot water.

We had a nice stay at the Sweeney the room was clean and updated. It was close to the train station and Town Center which made it convenient. A few things that could be improved would be more shelving in the shower and bedroom. We stayed for 3 nights and could have used fresh towels. We asked the room attendant for fresh towels but we never got them. With that being said overall it was a good stay.

Bed was large and comfortable. The room was spec’d to a high standard which was nice. The kitchenette had all the necessary equipment with a large built in fridge and freezer compartment. Getting into the property was easy and fully self service. Onsite parking is free with quite a few spots at the back and front. There is a Chinese restaurant next door to the building that does takeaway which was a great option. Only issues for me; I didn’t like the sliding door for the bathroom, would much prefer a normal door that seals when closed properly, and the smart TV on the wall should be bigger and was too slow to operate.
