Wonderful 3 nights stay

Great location less than 10mins to morning market. Loved the convenient store and eateries are right opposite the hotel. Love the in room washer dryer, big room and wardrobe, kitchen, full size fridge and balcony to dry clothes. Sizeable TV. Wonderful apartment like room with separate toilet and bath with bath tub

Comfort stay with DIY Hida beef dinner

Hotel is right next to the station, close to a lot of major tourist attraction. It’s also close to the bus station for day trips. The kichette in our room allowed us to a DIY Hida Beef dinner (beef from the famous Maruaki, which was always full, saved us a long waiting time). After all a very satisfactory experience.

Good location very close to Takayama Station

Very good location, 5 mins walk from Nohi Bus Terminal and Takayama Station. Manageable walking distance to morning market and old street. Family Mart convenience store opposite hotel. Small kitchenette, microwave and washing machine in room. This hotel offers good value for money.

Like your own appartement

It was amazing, and we wished we had stayed longer in this hotel. It was like having your own little appartement right next to the station and the convenience store. Beds were comfy, and there was a microwave and washing machine in the room. Walking distance of the old street for which the town is famous.

Instructions for electronics are not clear. Need better instructions in English for washer/dryer and air conditioner. The building is older but very nice, next to the train and bus stations. Very convenient. Stores open right across for food and drink, all night.

This was an excellent value for the money location with big rooms, kitchen, bathroom ….. the biggest room so far we have stayed in during our vacation in Japan. I would highly recommend it for the location only a block or two from the train station, close walking distance to restaurants and unique shops. The beds are very comfortable although I don’t care for the pillows so I have been sleeping on the throw pillows. Unfortunately I picked up a nasty virus and have spent the last three days convalescing in the room. So disappointing but at least I’m comfortable.

Very good experience, nice comfortable beds, very spacious room with kitchen and laundry machine. It was definitely very convenient to have washing/drying machine in the bedroom, laundry detergent was provided, awesome! Over all very good, place is not fancy but it has everything you need. It was clean but cleaning needs improvement in some areas, specially shower door.

Conveniently located next to Nohi bus terminal (which is right next to Takayama Station), transportation is a short walk away. There is a Family Mart within eyesight (2 minute walk). Since we arrived before check-in, they graciously held our luggage while we explored the area. Check-in was seamless and they provided one key with wooden charm. The building and rooms were really like studio apartments; the overall space was huge (comparing by Tokyo standards, with full size refrigerator, full kitchen (with some utensils, bowls, plates), separate toilet from shower, seating area, and balcony with space for drying laundry. Speaking of laundry, the in-room combination washer/dryer included two laundry pods; our wash/dry cycle took about 4 hours. Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here. I wish we had more time in Takayama to enjoy the room even more!

Purely a functional hotel. While the location can be a plus, our room was on a lower floor with a nondescript view of some vacant lot. The hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. The air circulation in our room could be better and the shower and toilet had a stale smell. Common spaces such as the lift and corridors is in need of improvement. Will not be staying again when visiting Takayama.

高山の駅前で便利です。徒歩圏内にたくさんの飲食店があります。駐車場は1泊800円でリーズナブル。部屋は住居を改築したもので広さは十分。乾燥機付きの自動洗濯機や調理器具もあります。唯一にして最大の弱点はエレベーターです。1つしか無く、しかも驚くほど狭い！　4階以下の部屋か、必ず乗れる最上階がおすすめです。 "It is conveniently located in front of Takayama Station. There are many restaurants within walking distance. Parking is reasonably priced at 800 yen per night. The rooms are converted from residential units, so they are spacious enough. There is also a washing machine with a dryer and cooking utensils. The only and biggest downside is the elevator. There's only one, and it's incredibly small! I recommend staying on the 4th floor or below, or the top floor, where you're guaranteed a ride."

My stay here was very comfortable. My room (with a single bed) felt massive compared to all others I stayed at in Japan, making it a good choice for both short- and long-term stays. (I stayed for two nights.) The overall decor/vibe felt a little older/more stale than I was expecting, but ultimately I wasn't in Takayama to sit around in a hotel room. The kitchenette and washer/dryer were both great; it does take a while to get clothes dry, but that seems standard for washer-dryer combos. Bonus points for the multi-USB charging cable. The location of the hotel is perfect: super close to the train station, which meant I didn't have to drag my bags across town like I saw so many others doing. The immediate area is a bit ugly (as it usually is near train stations), but Takayama is so walkable that it doesn't matter. I didn't have many interactions with staff, as my room was on the second floor and I always used the stairs and side entrance, but check-in and check-out were both super speedy, which I appreciated. One thing that irked me was that there was always laundry in the hallway. Always. No matter the time of day or night, there were bags of laundry outside my door. Maybe they don't have better storage options? Still, it felt unprofessional. And the linens themselves all smelled like tempura shrimp, as if the cleaners was next to a tempura restaurant. Very strange. But, overall, still a nice stay! Good value for the money.

駐車場を聞きに行ったら、外に出てきてくださって、停めやすいところを案内していただきました。オススメのご飯やさんも。教えてくださり、提携のお風呂施設も分かりやすく案内していただきました。 4人で、デラックススイートルームに泊まりましたが、ネットで見たときに、4人だと二人はダブルベットなのかもと思っていましたが、もう１つのベッドがクローゼットのようなところに隠されていて。驚きました。 広々使えて、とても居心地の良いところでした。 ありがとうございました。
