What a great little gem in the Poconos. It is very close to Lake Harmony and hiking trails. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

It was our first time staying here, it was a nice experience from the start very comfortable living space,we stayed in Pinstripe. Wonderful grab and go breakfast the next morning. We will stay at Camptel in the future.

This place is cute, very clean, excellent staff. It's a nice quiet get-away. Their restaurant is very nice inside. I's a limited menu, but the food is great! BEST potatoes/ home fries ever! Im missing them already!

It was AMAZING! It was far better than what I expected, and we certainly did not want to leave. It is such a unique and creative idea, and I can't wait to come back. The area itself is so quiet, calm, and super cute/unique. The place itself was extremely comfortable and fun to be in.

We loved our stay at Camptel and specifically in “The Big Ed”! A perfect combination of nature and comfort! It was so nice to have the gas fire pit right out front after a day of rafting in Jim Thorpe! Dave was friendly and communicative, we highly recommend this for your next trip to the area and we will be visiting again soon!

Loved it

This place was so cool! The campers are made out of shipping containers and are very comfortable and give a high end feel. The camper was very nicely decorated and spacious. The lot it was on was large with 2 fire pits. It was a private, comfortable hotel feel all while camping. We will definitely be back!

Great tiny home experience. I wished I was told to bring my own gas for the fire pit, couldn’t use it bc there was no gas. I also couldn’t make coffee because the filter was never cleaned and full of mold. Besides those two things I enjoyed myself

Our unit smelled of stale smoke. The wastebasket was full when we arrived Both nights we were there loud motors were running, at times we could even feel our unit vibrate due to the work being done on the grounds. Why was this work being done throughout the night?

Best Vaca Ever

My boyfriend and I just got home from a fantastic weekend getaway in Jim Thorpe/Poconos. We stayed at what I would consider the greatest campground I've ever been to, honestly better then any place I've stayed at. Camptel Poconos Glamping Resort and the managers are the freaking best. The camp ground itself are storage containers turned into cabins set up on your lot with covered seating, grill, propane fire pit. Our cabin, Thor, had a porch and balcony off the back, inside was a living room with a pullout sofa, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and a queen size bed in its bedroom. Everything was just the right size for the two of us and never in each other's way. It was nothing less of perfection. In the common areas of the campsite is a huge fire pit surrounded by chairs, a few games, gym, and hot tubs. Even with all the rain we were able to roast a couple marshmallows 😋 and enjoy everyone's company. We lost power the first night and the managers came around to check on us, offering anything we would need to be comfortable during the outage. Also, which was beyond expected, came and picked us up from the concert venue when we couldn't find an uber or lyft!!! There is no doubt in my mind we will be back!!!! Thank you Camptel for such an amazing weekend 💕

While the properties were beautiful, but DO NOT trust the staff here. When we arrived to our stay the entire property had lost power due to weather. When I called the property to check-in, they notified us of the power outage and promised us a refund if we requested one. We decided to sit in the parking lot for a period of time prior to requesting a refund in the hopes that the power would come back on. After 1 hour, we decided to request a refund and leave. The staff promised us a refund and processed the request, but it’s been over a month and they have since rescinded their promise. I payed full price expecting all of the services they provide, and received nothing but still paid full price. I have called 3 times and emailed them but they keep ignoring my communications. I will not be returning again!
