Great Room & Location!

I loved the room and the neighborhood! If I'm ever in Miami again, that's where I am staying. There are a ton of restaurants and activity around the hotel. Top Notch!

My Mum & I each had a room at the Sunset Inn for a mini vacation in June. We stayed for 5 nights. The rooms were clean & well-equipped. Communication with the owners was easy. We had a great stay! We'll definitely come back :)

The room was bright and very clean. There was easy parking. It is on the second floor and you will need to carry your bags but that was easy. The location is excellent.

This is a perfect option if you don't want to spend a lot of money. It's clean, safe and well-located. I had a long stay and hotel prices were crazy elsewhere so I was happy to find this.

Everything was great. Easy. I come down throughout the year with my son for checkups and this may be my favorite place we’ve stayed. Secure, quiet, clean, affordable and accessible to hospital. The host was also incredibly accommodating towards us as we inquired of the possibility of needing to extend our stay. They understood our unique situation and were quick to help out if the situation arose. Thank you. Will be back.

Fantastic stay. Lots to do around that area. Parking garage was very close and easy access. Communication was in a timely manner. Quick response is always appreciated. Especially when you have question that need an immediate response. Awesome restaurants and shops. Very clean space. I would 100percent book again.

Clean room and convenient spot. Helpful staff. Lisa was very helpful. Cleaning cost of 50 dollars every time is high. Towels, sheets s/b changed every 2 or 3 days. If not people would not rent for more than a few days.

The drscription of the futon bed is not accurate It is not big enough for a grown up to sleep on And the door to the room was out of order so it could not lock when you leave the room I had to move out after the first night

Was in town and needed a place close enough to the Univ. of Miami. I prefer to walk whenever possible. The Metrorail from MIA had a stop 2 blocks from the property. Super convenient. A Whole Foods and CVS were nearby (~5 min walk) so I saved money by not eating out every meal. The property is quaint and very clean. Kitchenette was well stocked for my needs. It was cool to experience the area of town known as “South Miami.” Will definitely look into staying here again if I’m ever back in Miami.

water doesnt come out hot. had a spill and nothing to clean with so i used a towel and so they charged me $50. parking is expensive. they also need to get a mirror outside of the bathroom cause the one in there is so small. somewhere to put your soap and shampoos in the shower would be nice, i had to put them on top of the toilet seat and get out everytime i needed something. you can hear everything outside and on saturday i was woken by some advertisement/food truck event in the back of the building with loud music.

Great Location and Value

The location is excellent. The rooms are spartan, but nice. Management, while not located at the Inn, is nearby, friendly, and helpful. There is a shower and not much shelf space in the bathroom. There is a small refrigerator, kitchen sink, and microwave. Unless you have business away from South Miami, you don't need a car. There are two close grocery stores, and numerous good restaurants, bars, tea/boba shops, ice cream, and cafés within an easy walk, including Cécile bakery+cafe which is good and opens at 7AM breakfast as well as lunch. There is even a good hardware store close by. You are a few short blocks from a CVS. The South Miami Metrorail station is close by if you want to get to downtown Miami or a little further south to a major shopping center. The management is friendly and helpful. Just don't forget to bolt the hallway door when you leave; All the rooms are located on a common hallway, so leaving the hallway door unbolted is a security risk. Bring an eyeshade (and possibly earplugs) for sleep. This was my second stay, and I plan to return.

I had a delightful and cozy experience during my stay at Sunset Inn. The room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, complete with a small kitchenette. The location is fantastic, with numerous restaurants and quaint shops within easy walking distance. While parking is off-site, it’s just around the corner and conveniently close to the inn. If I have the opportunity to return to South Miami, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

The Sunset Inn room was very clean and nicely decorated, with small kitchenette. Location of the place is excellent with many reataurants and small shops within the walking distance. Parking is off site (need to contact them to make an arrangementbefore you arrive), but it's right around the corner. When we stayed, the laundry facility was out of order and closed. That was the only nagative thing. This place is contactless and as long as you make all the arrangements prior to arrival, you will have no issues at all. I really enjoyed my stay and if i would visit South Miami, i would definitely stay here again
