Must stay don’t pass up this fabulous place!

So far our stay has been amazing! The staff is professional but friendly. Facilities are clean, manicured and beautiful. The room is spacious, clean with all the details in place. Would highly recommend Hotel Danza del Sol to others.

The place is such a peaceful and gorgeous Oasis. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The suite was huge beautiful and rustic with everything you could need for an amazing relaxing stay! Loved it there thank you!

Beautiful property

The property is beautiful with gardens, a pool and a playground. Our one bedroom villa was very spacious and cute. The breakfast restaurant was a treat and included with the room! It’s a lovely quiet place perfect for families.

Very clean and spacious accommodations. Staff was professional and very helpful. On the down side, could have used more hot water, and some extra lighting near the shelfs.

Amazing property. Huge rooms. Could use some repairs to door jams and window screens but felt very compensated due to great price. Employees were always very helpful. Would recommend!

The property is really old, but clean. The breakfast was great ! This property is in desperate need of a major renovation! I would not recommend anyone to stay here. The rooms are dark and ceiling is very low. No a/c!

Property originally a monastery, then medical clinic, and now a hotel. It was huge rooms, like a cave, and very poor lighting. Staff very nice, and helpful. It was never updated to be a hotel, it was designed to be a monastery. Bed mattress very poor. Internet - terrible. Ended up with no hot shower. I would like a refund or credit for bad hotel. hot shower

Nice but need a GOOD REMODELATION

Hotel is very well know in Ajijic but is being there for aprox 50 years and needs a good remodelation. Is a pity that a really nice construction does not have a good maintenance.

Property is clean but your chimney not available and that was a big disappointment. Covers are not available stove not working. I would not recommend or stay again.

I’m still staying here tonight only, thank god. The property advertises a bar, restaurant, pool and fireplace. There is nothing to burn in the fireplace, there is no water in the room only an empty garafon holder. No ice is available and there are no restaurants or bars. Will not return.

Difficult stay

It was very poorly maintained. The pool was very cold as they did not heat it after all the Guadalajaran people left and over the weekend it had 20 kids in it so we did not swim. Both toilets leaked and did not flush well. There was no microwave or soap to wash dishes. The TV was static and sound was awful. Restaurant was ok - waiters were good but eggs were overcooked and pancakes were inedible. Bed was uncomfortable. One shower was unusable as the showerhead sprayed 5 sprays in all different directions. No one was there at checkout in the early morning. Will not recommend. I'm sorry - we have low expectations but this was very hard for my husband who has trouble with stairs and there were stairs everywhere to every room.

Their was a gas leak from the hot water boiler in the kitchen. Very smelly and dangerous. They couldn't turn the boiler off without turning off the hot water
