Family stopover for 2 nights. Check in staff were super friendly and helpful, highly commendable. Room was decent size and did everything we needed from in. Loads of activities and things to do. Balcony was on the small size was only grumble but not a deal breaker for us.

Basic French mountain accommodation. Good set up with friendly helpful staff. Avoriaz is pretty cool, loads of amenities. Stayed here for summer MTB, would probably stay again. Little bit tired in apartment but that’s standard unless you’re paying top end.

Avoriaz 1800 is an impressive place to approach: it first appears in the distance when you drive through Morzine, and then ducks and dives as you wind your way up and up until you get there. The car-free nature of the village gives it a relaxed vibe, and after unloading our luggage into a cart, we walked the short distance to reception to check-in. The check-in process was easy and expedited by the excellent Reception staff. Our apartment was in the Malinka building, and although it was on the 10th floor, getting up to it was never a problem as the three large lifts serving Malinka were fast and never busy. The apartment itself was superb: clean and comfortable and focussed on the unbelievable view from the balcony. Having two bathrooms was an unexpected bonus. Kitchen was very well equipped. Bedding was immaculate and the beds were super-comfy. Amenities near Malinka couldn't be better. A bakery 50m from the entrance, and a small supermarket too. Everywhere in Avoriaz is walking distance. Avoriaz 1800 is a place worth visiting -- ideal in summer for walkers and mountain bikers -- and there could not have been a better place for us to stay than the Malinka building of Résidence Pierre & Vacances Avoriaz Saskia Falaise.

The accommodation was a bit cramped for five people with luggage, with limited storage. A sixth person spotless have been impossible Ski room not heated, so we took our ski boots back to the room each night to stay warm to aid in putting them in the next day Very helpful at reception Good dining options

Good stay, but…

The apartment was clean and neat. Staff were friendly. Stay was very comfortable Should have added more plugs. No place to plug on the toaster/kettle. You have to unplug the tv/light to plug them in and keep them on floor The main issue was there was no wifi. We booked through hotels.com who told there was free wifi. But the receptionist told the details were not changed even though it was informed several times.

The room was a lot smaller than expected and the bedroom was actually on extend to the lounge with only a bifold door separating them. You couldn’t watch the tv as the sofas were not able to be positioned in the right place. Unfortunately there was shards of glass on one of the sofas which my daughter cut her hand on. They did attempt to hoover it up with the most disgusting dirty hoover I have ever seen. But in the end had to change the cover. They weren’t very apologetic about this and didn’t seem to understand the potential implications. The radiator in the “bedroom” wasn’t working and had to be fixed. There is only one plug socket in the kitchen so you have to change the kettle, toaster, coffee machine over as you need to use them. In general there aren’t enough plug sockets and the room is really dated. Ski locker is very small for 4 people skiing. Great location and views, and snow was lovely.

Appartement très fonctionnel avec une vue imprenable. Personnels agréables et attentifs à vos attentes. Idéalement situé (proche du parking permettant le dépôt de bagage - la station est piétonne), calme et à 5min du centre de la station. Un multipass inclus (14 nuits) permettant l'accès à de nombreuses activités et aux remontées mécaniques. Parking gratuit à l'extérieur de la station (moins de 10 min) à pied.

Avoriaz er et fantastisk skisports sted.

Lejlighederne var lidt faldefærdige med smadret rude og komfur, men udsigten og placering i byen er fantastisk. Ind og udtjekning gik rigtig nemt, personalet var meget service minded.

Logement complet mais un peu petit. Il y a des petits supermarchés, des boulangeries, des restaurants, des activités à proximité mais Avoriaz est assez loin du centre animé de Morzine.
