I booked this property for a long weekend stay for a large family (7 guests), the listing details and the pictures are accurate and we had a wonderful stay. The property is in a wooded and quite neighborhood. Sufficient parking for the three cars we had with room for another. We liked the large vaulted den and there was plenty of comfortable seating and a big screen TV with Direct TV. We also like the wrap around decks and the deck off the back of the kitchen which had a nice hot tub we enjoyed using. The back deck has a good sized grill which is connected to natural gas so no worries about running out of propane when using it. The downstairs game room was also a hit with my sons. It is fairly spacious and has a nostalgic and rustic vibe to it typical of a Big Bear family cabin. The kitchen was sufficiently furnished to make hot breakfasts and reheat pizza. I found communication with the host very easy through their portal and they were very professional and prompt in responding to our request for a late checkout based on availability. Transaction for payment was a combination of the VRBO booking fee with the balance to paid to the Destination Big Bear portal. I thought that overall the value of the lodging was fair for the rate charged.

We had a great weekend stay at Hibernation Station with a group of 8 people. The layout of the house is really spacious, and everyone had plenty of room to be comfortable without feeling crowded. The game room was a big plus, especially for the kids, and gave them something fun to do during downtime.The house was clean and the location was convenient. Since it’s a smaller town, pretty much everything we needed was only about 5–10 minutes away, which made getting around really easy.One thing that was a little inconvenient was having to go up the stairs when bringing in groceries and bags. It would be really helpful if guests had access to the side door from the bottom level for easier unloading, especially when traveling with a larger group or carrying a lot of luggage.Parking was also good, but there is only enough space for our 2 cars. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The spacious layout, game room, cleanliness, and convenient location made it a great place for a weekend getaway with family or friends. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Fun Property with Great Managers!

Took my 17-year old son and a couple friends of his on a snowboarding trip for his birthday weekend here. My girlfriend and her two kids also joined us, 7 of us total, and we had a blast. This property has a bunch of fun amenities and is really large and spacious, great location and close to the slopes. And although it had some technical issues with one of the bathrooms at the time we were there - hey, it happens - the property managers were very attentive and made us feel taken care of. Great place! I would say here again.

Great Stay for a Great Price

It was a wonderful stay and for a very good price. My group was so happy to find a place close to Snow Summit - only about 10 minutes away! The home was clean and had plenty of amenities and the hot tub was so nice to relax in! I will say that we ran into a few issues with the sink clogging, a few dirty dishes, and the fridge not being nearly as cold as it should have been. For the price, it was a wonderful stay and I would love to return! I hope that they will consider updating a few things and making sure everything runs a bit more smoothly next time, but otherwise I would highly recommend staying here if you're not too picky.

We just love it!

Everything was nice, clean, welcoming and cozy. Beautiful cabin! Well stocked! Super comfortable beds! Nice Jacuzzi! A little too much bleach, but we enjoyed. The barbecue grill was perfect! Great location! Near to mostly everything! Nice tv in the living room! The bar was a plus! We just had such a wonderful family time! Thanks for letting us use your beautiful cabin! We definitely coming back!
