Hi Mandi, thanks so much for staying at our A17 Villas of Clearwater Beach and for such a detailed, balanced review! We're delighted the location, layout, and beach gear made your family trip, and we're sorry the ice maker, fridge, pool timing, elevator, and neighborhood noise took some shine off it. We're passing every one of your notes to our team so these get the attention they deserve. Your offer of a second try means a lot, and we'd love to show you the version of this place that matches the ocean views!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review, Mary! We're really glad you found the unit clean and comfortable and that you enjoyed the beach towels, chairs, toys, and box fans. We're sorry the pool was down for repairs and that one of the beds was broken when you arrived, and we appreciate your understanding and your flexibility in letting us handle the bed after your stay. We hear you on the check-in and check-out times, and we appreciate you understanding that we need that window to get the unit ready for every guest. We're happy you loved the walkable location, and we'd be delighted to host you again!

Sounds like the perfect balance, Amy! We're so glad check-in and check-out were a breeze during your stay at A17 in Clearwater Beach, and that the location gave you the best of both worlds — walkable but still quiet and private. Hope to welcome you back soon!

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the property did not meet your expectations. Comparing a family rental to the Hyatt can be a bit unfair, as they cater to different experiences. The Hyatt, being a five-star hotel chain, offers a different level of service and amenities that come with a much higher price point. Our property is a family home where the owners have put in a lot of love and effort for guests to enjoy, and many have found it delightful. However, we understand that it might not suit everyone's tastes. Regarding the beds and pillows, we appreciate your comments and will look into upgrading them. The issue with the washer and the iron will also be addressed to ensure future guests do not face the same inconvenience. As for the thermostat, it is set to a minimum of 72 degrees, and we have verified that it is functioning properly. The perception of coldness can vary, especially if doors or balconies are left open or due to the external weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding and hope that you consider us again in the future. Thank you for staying with us.
