The location was amazing! Only 3 blocks from the beach. And my son absolutely loved the pool. It was a great pool for relaxing and for smaller children because of the large step downs and ledges in the pool. The rooms were a little confusing when we arrived. We didn’t realize there were only 3 rooms in the main house and “2” in the in-law suite - one of them being a pull out couch. The listing states that but I just didn’t realize it until we saw it in person. This ended up being perfect for our family since I have a very early riser. It was nice to have a separate space. There were some essentials that were lacking. There was only one small cookie sheet and no large bowls/mixing bowls. There were only enough plates for one meals for the 8 of us but there are more plates and utensils in the in-law suite. There were plenty of spices, cooking utensils, cups, and a lot of colanders and muffin tins (haha). Some of the dishes were not clean and there needs to be some high dusting done especially on the light fixtures. The couches have couch covers which were a bit hard to keep on. The outside of the property could use a little bit of maintenance too but the location was amazing. The host was responsive and helpful! We would rent again in a heartbeat and have already talked about renting again next year!

The house was great and the hosts were very responsive. Location and beach were also very nice. The path to the beach was cute and felt like a little adventure every time. I had two concerns about the property after staying. The first is that the bed listings while technically accurate were a little misleading, The pullout next to the kitchen isn't really workable for anyone other than a child, and the pullout in the casita is not the most comfortable but worked. The second concern is that the pool while great was smaller than what it seemed in the pictures.Overall a great location and hosts and if you only need 4 bedrooms an awesome place. Thanks for a good trip!

Our family had a wonderful time. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool and outdoor area—I think we ate outside every evening! The house was very well equipped and the large table in the kitchen was big enough for the entire family to sit around and play games. Thanks for such a wonderful week!

Great access to the beach from the property. It is difficult getting a beach cart or wagon through the short wooded area, but the path is fine for walking. The landscaping at the property needs some attention, but the interior of the house and guest house is very nice. The pool was great, and appreciated on hot summer days.

From the minute we arrived, I was blown away by how little the kitchen offered, from no good pans to cook with (I had to go purchase), to barely 4 or 5 spoons in the drawer, only one small measuring cup, blender that was very old, dirty floors, roaches found crawling, dirty staircase floors, no guest bathroom, master bathroom had to be shared with another room upstairs, no counter space in any bathroom, shower nozzle needed replaced. The guest house was the only portion that seemed "fresh & new", but no bathroom counter space in there. Beach/pool items were old and rusty so we couldn't use those. Was definitely not worth the money. Location was good and close to beach though.

Beach is an easy walk, but need some caution crossing highway at the shortest route to the beach. Pool is small, but the 2 boys enjoyed it. Clean and warm. The Guest house was treat for my wife and me while the daughter's family took over the main house. Easy exchange with activities at both areas. Guest house listing of 2 bedrooms is a realtors overstatement. Very comfortable for 2 adult sleepers.

Check in was easy and the host was reasonably quick to respond to questions. The guest house was a real plus. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was just a short walk to the beach (though you had to cross a road that was busy and go up and down a dune to get there).

It was unusually chilly and the pool heater, a heat exchanger, could not keep up. The kitchen equipment lacked a flat skillet type pan, and some of the frying pans were scratched. The hosts were very helpful in responding to questions prior to the stay.

Great time with our family and grandparents. Super cute house. Close walk to the beach was nice since we normally stay right on the beach that it was so close still. Would recommend some curtains in front of the garage door that can be closed or opened for extra privacy. Everything was great though with the house, the close proximity to everything, and to the beach

Our stay was awesome. It was our daughter’s destination wedding at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. We had many places to stay but this home seemed extra special for our large family and it proved so. It was lovely and comfortable and the separate suite was a huge bonus. Jody was an excellent host just a message away if needed. When in the area we would definitely stay here again. Absolutely loved our stay!! It was a perfect place for all our friends and family to stay for my wedding weekend! The place was beautiful and clean and check in was a breeze! I absolutely loved how safe it was for my kids with the pool net up and there was actually a baby gate available for us to use that really came in handy! We also loved that it’s literally a 2 minute walk to the beach!! We will DEFINITELY be staying here again on our next St.Augustine trip!!

This place was absolutely adorable. My teenager loved celebrating her 13th birthday in St Augustine. We really hope to stay here again, but definitely longer stay next time. We had everything we needed.

Great family time

Pros: very clean, everything you need( utensils, paper products, towels), great location, close to beach.Cons: pool little small(liked the steps and swim out on opposite ends), no mini fridge in in-laws suite, only 3 bedrooms in main house 1 in in-laws but 2 pull out couches.Over all great place and would stay again!!!

Great Property/Great Location

This was the perfect property for a "multi-aged" family. The 30 somethings stayed in the guest house while the children, parents and grandparents stayed in the main house.Conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants. Also close to Old Town St. Augustine.

A Fun Place to Stay

The property was a fun place to stay, it was clean, lots of amenities (towels, kitchen supplies, shampoo, etc,), warm pool, casita, comfy beds, etc. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, a short drive to Cap’s Restaurant and the Reef’s Restaurant. Publix was a quick trip, too. We stayed 10 nights, so loved exploring St Augustine (a short drive away). It’s a great place to stay!

Perfect Family Home

Six adults and four kids, ranging in age from under 2 to 11, stayed at this lovely home near the beach for five glorious days. The layout of the main house allows for privacy and comfortable common space. But two amenities — the guest house and heated pool — made this an extra special place for a family reunion that included three generations. We’d return in a heartbeat.
