This home was wonderful for our stay on Anna Maria this year. It was just as described and very well stocked with everything we needed. The pool was amazing and the beach access that we were only a block and a half from was wonderful. I would highly recommend this home.

Fabulous property!! Couldn’t have had a better location and a more well appointed home. Easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach along with a private dock for our boat. We will definitely be back!!

The location of the proprety was perfect--a very short walk to the beach. The beach access ramp was easily manueverable unlike other places we have visited. The house was clean, updated, and beautifully furnished. The lovely pool area along with the dock access really added to the beach experience. We will definitely visit this property again!

We loved the place, some minor things were completed by the maintenance team in a fast manner.. ran out of gas for grill and they had that replaced within the hour… would have been really nice to have access to kayaks… more fishing poles…. Maybe a few bikes for kids… Otherwise, it was perfect for our group of 11

Sounds like a great group trip with a little bit of everything, Nathan! Castaway Cove by AMI Locals is a solid spot for a big crew—plenty of space, and those quick fixes (like the grill gas) help keep the good times rolling without missing a beat. Appreciate the ideas too with kayaks, extra fishing gear, and bikes would definitely add even more fun to the stay. That kind of feedback helps us keep improving the experience. Beautiful home in a wonderful location

We loved our stay here. Our one suggestion would be to leave more “staples” for guests. There were no spices (even salt and pepper), no storage containers (baggies or ziplock containers), no liquid hand soap, no Saran Wrap or aluminum foil etc). We’ve stayed in many VRBOs and have appreciated when these types of items spill over from guest to guest.

Family Vacation

This is our 3rd annual family vacation in Anna Maria. We were a group of 12. The house was perfect, clean and comfortable! The host was responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool and the private dock made our stay better for early morning fishing!

First time on Anna Maria Island

Property was as advertised. Quiet neighborhood, but highly walkable to beaches, fishing, shopping and restaurants, plus trolley stop at the end of the block. We utilized all amenities, and had a relaxing time. Would stay here again if we return with 10 adults. Loved our time on the Island!!

Great Location, short walk from the beach!

We came for a family trip and had an amazing time. This house was perfect for 8 adults and 4 children under the age of 7. The alarm system was so helpful as many of them wanted to go out by the pool and dock! Excellent proximity to the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Blessed and Thankful

We absolutely loved the house, pool and short distance to the beach. The location was perfect for shopping, restaurants, bakeries and very important, ice cream! The weather was perfect. Our only complaint was one week was not enough!

Great location & perfect backyard!

The home location was really great & the backyard was lush & private! Beautiful spacious pool! Another bathroom upstairs would really help out. There are too many bedrooms sharing upstairs. Even a 1/2 bath would help out.

Nice family gathering rental

Rented this house for my husbands 60th birthday.. we rent alot on VRBO( and have one ourselves) Very nicely decorated, spacious and suited our needs. A place to relax- very easy walk to a beautiful Beach( all towels, mats,chairs provided as well as wagon to pull it all in!) Home was very spacious for us all - lots of different areas to relax in. Had an issue with pool heating but believe they are getting it fixed now- the agents were easy to get in touch with when we had any questions. Lots todo in the area : beautiful Beach, loved Sandbar restaurant, and Jinny for coffee and breakfast.. wish we could stay longer but just a long weekend this time!

House & Stay

House was great and so was area! Only suggestion bring lots of bug spray. Could not enjoy fishing off dock or pool after 5:30-6:00pm because mosquito’s were so bad. Other than that our stay was great.

Castaway stay

The home was a great location with closer proximity to the beach and to shopping. We rented a golf cart and kayaks. The beds were comfortable and the house is very large. However, there was construction going on next door as a home was being built. The noise was intolerable. I called to speak to the manager and my call was never returned. Another issue is that the family room furniture has a musty unpleasant odor. The property was fine just way overpriced during a construction period and for the fact that it’s felt very tired.

Great family property with lots of outdoor spaces

Great house for our family of 5 with3 20 somethings and occasional significant others. We did a lot of cooking and kitchen is spacious & pretty well equipped. Great for entertaining on the spacious tables. WiFi needs upgrade with everyone working at same time!

Great location and great house

Family of 7 stayed here a week before the COVID pandemic. The house was clean, comfortable, and as described. We used the pool everyday without issues we’ve had at other rentals - it was cleaned and at a warm temperature — plus the hot tub worked on command. Thank you for the great stay.

Great stay!

Super easy check in & quick response with questions. The Pool was warm & the House is super close to the beach. We had family staying at the house on the end of the canal that were catching fish off their dock & we saw a manatee in the canal! The House had everything we needed for cooking and had enough toiletry essentials to get started. (Hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags.) The pool gets a good mix of sun and shade throughout the day, so there is options for both all day long. Very private backyard. Game room and screened in porch were great to have!
