The cabin was really good. But some chairs and stools were not safe at all. The mother in law suite had no a/c. It did have plenty of towels and blankets. If it weren’t for the amount of stairs, I would come back. Really nice home.

The space had its own BNB info book which had conflicting info on pets, hot tubs, and other random stuff. Nothing we couldn't navigate. The listing had "hot tub highlight" in VRBO from its being a top rated hot tub on VRBO FROM THE PAST! this hot tub does not exist any more.... The owner I'm sure did their best to remove it from the listing but it is still there. Two trash bags, and minimal toilet paper which was just odd... No vacuum and we had kids so cleaning up after them was difficult. And being expected to remove all your trash upon a 10am check out or being charged EXTRA for that is ridiculous. I took as much out as I could but there was still trash here and there and I was stressing about being charged for trash. They say DO NOT STRIP THE BEDS for a reason. They're disgusting. An upholstery cleaner would fix that but I guess that and taking trash out is too much for house owners/ housekeepers... Floors look they they were mopped with dirty water leaving smudges and foot prints. Not terrible but not great. Wouldn't stay there again but it was fine for all of our crazy kids. Grateful for the space, everything worked out, but I wouldn't stay again.

Had to call office regarding broken keyless entry. Had to unlock key box and use key. Keyless entry was never repaired on our vacation. No hot tub as advertised on vrbo and the guest book in the home. The house was filthy! We had to wash linens to even go to bed. Candy, spilled liquid and hair all over the bedding in 2 rooms. I called the office and the lady called me a liar! The legs on 1 bed were broken. The back deck needs replacing, boards rotted and chunks missing. So many problems. I did receive a 1 night refund, should have been more. I submitted pictures as requested. I'm more than happy to share with vrbo. VRBO needs to remove this listing! Save your for something other than Hummingbird Cabins! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The rental company has too many documents to fill out. I still have not received my deposit back after two weeks. The cabin is nice but it needs work. Things were broken when we got there and we let the rental company know. They gave us no response. We cleaned everything before we left. Not sure what takes them so long.

SCAM/ SAVE YOUR MONEY

If I could give this cabin zero stars I would. Half of the amenities listed that made us book this cabin didn’t work. The cabin got up to 80 degrees in the middle of summer, with no working AC unit, it was cooler outside & the fridge would not cool, so we had to get coolers & ice to store our groceries. When we called the property managers, they refused to help us or offer any sort of refund. They told us our only option was to leave the cabin, after driving all day to get there. I will never be booking with this company again, the secretary was super rude and refused to help, on top of falsely advertising this cabin.

Nice stay

The blow dryer did not work and the Hot tube had a leak other than that it was really nice and loved how much room there was.

Great stay!

Stay was great! House was clean, hot tub was good, we did have to fill it up with the hose a couple of times but host was quick to answer any questions about it. Whole house was spacious and enjoyable for both families that attended!!! Definitely would stay again!

Great home with wildlife surrounding the place

Quick stay for a mountain get away from the Texas heat. We arrived a couple hours before check in time, and there was no ability to access the home prior to check in. Kind of a hassle, but the check in time is clearly stated, we are just accustomed to a little flexibility on that part with our many prior VRBO stays. Home is older but nice and clean. The best part is the location. We saw a large herd of elk in the neighborhood daily, several bears, and many deer. It was pretty amazing being able to see all of this in the neighborhood. We are hoping to stay again in January.

Ugh

This house was one of the most sadly neglected homes we have ever stayed in. It felt worn out and tired. There are years of grime and it needs a complete overhaul inside and out to be considered a decent rental. We felt like we were in Grandma’s old homestead. The photos were a complete misrepresentation. The heating and cooling system is a mess. There was a polar difference between the temperatures upstairs compared to downstairs. The decks are ridiculously high. (not mentioned in ad!) and a bit terrifying as they were rickety. We did not even attempt the hot tub. There were mouse droppings everywhere and centipedes. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets and outside on the walkway. The upstairs bedrooms were organized and fairly clean though the upstairs bathroom was grimey. The kitchen was surface cleaned but don’t move anything or look too close. There were not enough towels, kitchen or otherwise. The garage area was sad. The downstairs king bed was quiet clearly not changed from the previous guest (hair, debris). The bathroom down there was dirty and black particles came out of the tub jets. The mother in law space smelled like gas and presented like an old closed up musty apartment. I felt bad assigning that room to some of my family. We cleaned the bathrooms somewhat ourselves, ignored the big picture, and did a lot of laundry. With that said, I think you should refund my cleaning bill! We aren’t fussy, city folk. We used to live in Lincoln, NM. It was disappointing

Beautiful Place

There was plenty of space and enough places to sleep everyone comfortably and also enough games for all ages. Will definitely stay again.

Pictures are old

The house is in a great location. The upstairs living room was comfortable. Mattresses are old and uncomfortable, master bathroom jets are disgusting and have residue on them, dishes had residue on them from not being washed properly, there were no pool balls, the outdoor railing was missing some sections so not safe at all and the house had this odor to it like someone fries chicken in it on a daily basis. The house has lots of cosmetic damage and a grungy feel to it. I would not stay there again.

Family Christmas

The house was very clean and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Really our only complaint was trying to regulate the temperature. The downstairs master would be extremely hot and uncomfortable and the upstairs/main floor would be very cold in comparison. Tried several different setting on the thermostat and never could get a comfortable setting for the entire house. Definitely a great house for a large group just wish we could have figured that part out and it would have been perfect.
