Kardinalhytte ved Hummingbird Hills (Hocking Hills-området)

For full transparency to those reading this review: the guest emailed us at 8:30 a.m. on the morning of their departure. During their stay, they did not contact the maintenance line we provide for the issue so we assumed this happened the day they were departing. We were unaware they were seeking compensation related to 1 loose bolt in the bed frame. Receiving a two-star rating is difficult for a small business like ours, especially when we were not given the opportunity to address the issue in real time. We encourage guests to contact maintenance immediately if any problems arise, as we work very hard to provide a five-star experience. Below is our response to the guest’s email: “Thank you for letting us know. We were not aware of this issue during your stay. From the photo, it appears the bed frame may be broken rather than simply unbolted, though it’s difficult to tell. We’re relieved no one was injured, and our maintenance team will repair or replace it immediately.”
