BESKRIVELSE:
Leilighet har: Bahama skodder i soverom og stue vinduet - de gir flott lys og privatliv med luftstrøm med vinduene åpne i kjøligere vær og ingen slamrende vertikaler. Wet bar i andre soverommet. Begge bad har blitt slengt med walk in dusj i master. Nytt kjøkken som i desember 2015.

Jeg har to Key Largo 2/2 hytter tilgjengelig og fullt møblert med din komfort og bekvemmelighet i tankene!

Awesome facility! We loved the pool, beach area, and lagoon. Convenient access to many restaurants and amenities. Definitely recommend a visit!

Thanksgiving family reunion

We gathered at Key Largo for our family’s Thanksgiving vacation. It was all wonderful. Great location for kids, lots of convenient amenities. Love watching sunrise from the jetty!

Great layout and very accommodating host

We stayed for 5 days because my husband was running the Keys100 Ultramarathon. We were very close to attractions and the condo was well stocked with items we needed away from home. Would recommend highly!

The condo is thoroughly, professionally after each rental. So this is a gross exaggeration. A steamer is used to clean the floors...this cleans better than any mop. There is no way the condo was dirty and dusty. It is unfortunate that the tiles I chose have grooves which impossible to get 'completely' clean and out so people think the floors are dirty.

Happy and disappointed

Upon arrival our manager allowed us to check in early which was a total blessing being that it was pouring rain at the train station and we were all soaking wet. Everything I right there gas, restaurants, fun activities and even a fishing spot a stones throw away. As going in we noticed how cozy it is and everything is well worn in and maybe a few things could be upgraded like the cleaning service and the pest control service. We ran into quite a few German cockroaches as we flipped on the lights and our daughter had completely black feet after only a few short minutes of being there. My wife totally freaked out about the roaches and I reacted fast to the complete cleaning of the floor with a bunch of cleaning supplies I brought at Walmart and a bunch of bug spray to eliminate the bugs . My wife took the kids down to the rental car to sleep until I had everything under control.which was completely annoying because I was on vacation and had to do a complete cleaning and bug fumigation. The manager was completely normal upon our arrival and very helpful but after I explained our situation she totally ignored any and all of my texted. Very unprofessional behavior and totally unacceptable in my book because I am a service plumber and a business owner so I totally know what should of been done in this situation and what totally happened so I was happy to be on vacation with my family and also disappointed in my rental properties reaction to my complaint. As I already explained...but you chose to ignore...1) I only got your text message today after you had gone. This happens occasionally, and I BELIEVE i have in my information somewhere, that if you try to reach me, and don't get a response, to call again...I have no reason to hide from anyone. Unfortunately, bugs are part of the tropics and apparently roaches do love the warm weather too and especially like to visit when food is left out on the counter (as you said WAS done) - even though they are not invited. This is why I have everything in the kitchen cabinets sealed in containers. Again, I ALWAYS respond, But I have to get the message before I can do that. You chose to text me, it didn't come through, and it turns out, as you mentioned the wifi didn't work your last day...that Hotwire, which didn't use the wifi password I gave them initially, changed the one they told me and used the original one I gave them....BUT I was never advised. I found out today with the new Rental check in, and I had them try 3 versions of the same password, upper and lower case letters...and got it...Hotwire changed it to ALL CAPS, only didn't let me know! BTW I sent a message to my cleaner to be sure she sprays in the future when she cleans and she advised that she always does spray, even though I never requested it previously. I do keep bug spray is in the closet, so if you had asked or even looked (as you did to find a plunger when you needed it for the toilet) you didn't need to go buy any spray, there's plenty there if it's needed. Sleeping in the car is a bit of an extreme measure when you see a roach or two. Unfortunately, when I purchased the tile for this condo, I chose a porcelain tile which had a finish that has grooves in it, which I didn't realize would hold dirt. You can clean that tile, every day, even 10 times a day, you cannot get the dirt out of the small grooves in it. An oversight and nothing that I can do about it now, re-tiling the place is out of the question!

Great place & location

We love the tower at Kawama. The condo has everything you can possibly need and then some! There were gadgets in the kitchen that I had not even seen before! The owner was very accessible for questions etc. We would most definitely stay again.

It was what we needed

The condo was nice, we wasn't ready to make the beds, but it had ample dishes, silver and glasses, all the appliances worked well, although we went to use the laundry to find clothes and sheets in the dryer, over all nice

Everything was left as expected. People need to read the information I send them and they won't be surprised that the beds are not made but that clean folded sheets are at the end of the bed ready to be made. They also asked for the lock box i - which is in the information that is sent to access the apartment. It's a lot of information, but it is all there. I also them a message that there was laundry left in the dryer that the cleaner would come and put away - also not read...and they apparently got to it before the cleaner did.

Enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was very relaxing, enjoyable and just what we had hoped for. Loved the lagoon and the pool. The property offered many things to do from fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming and watching the beautiful sunsets.

Great 2-bedroom condo in Key Largo

We had a great stay at this wonderful 2-bedroom condo. It was very nice for 4 adults to share and in a convenient location. The apartment was clean and well stocked. We found everything we needed for cooking. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C kept us at a comfortable temperature. The owner, Carol provided lots of useful information when we booked the stay and followed up quickly for all of our questions. If you are a diver, there are several dive shops close by. My favorites are Horizon Divers and Conch Republic. In the shaded parking area, there is a house, that makes it easy to rinse or clean scuba equipment. The bedrooms are a nice size and there is plenty of room and seating in the living room any dining area to gather. I highly recommend this property and we plan to stay here again.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay at my Condo at Kawama. My favorite for diving is Conch Republic and the shop I go out with the most when I don't go privately. Quiescense is the other that I have gone with on occasion, they have 6 packs. Very nice for a small group you can pretty much choose where you want to dive in the area. You're certainly welcome back any time.

Wendy et al were wonderful guests. They are welcome back and highly recommend them to any other hosts. They had the unfortunate experience of the kitchen microwave not working (but I have a back up in the guest room)...and the washer stopped working propertly. Thanks to Wendy letting me know of these issues to me so I am able to get them taken care of quickly.

Just right

We had a short stay but the condo was just as advertised. We had the Tower pool almost to ourselves each day which was a huge bonus. Carol was easy to work with and easy to communicate with.

Perfect location for warm get away.

The weather was perfect, and spent most of the time outside enjoying the scenery and property. A little mix up with sheets for the king size bed, but would definitely stay here again.

Pleased you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your understanding with the sheet issue due to the sudden problem with the washing machine...unfortunate toy my cleaner didnt realize bother sets of sheets she took to wash at home were for the king bed. At least the she was able to return with the sheets the next day and as a back up I bought a set of sheets with me (just in case) when picking up the washer for repair.

Everything you need

If you like Key Largo this is the perfect place to stay! Carol is extremely accommodating. Me particularly I’m not a fan of the Keys, But this condo may have just changed my mind. It’s very large the pictures don’t do it justice. The only issue that was had was out of Carols control, it was just nature (the sea grass on the beach tends to stink) but other then that I would stay here anytime I come back down for now on. The condo itself has all the amenities you would need or can think of she’s thought of it and made it happen

Thank you. I apologize for the late response. The Keys are here awaiting your return...I love it for Diving. Much has changed since I've first came to the Keys...some good, some not so much. Many years ago Corporations were taking over everything, A DISASTER…the turn in the market. Slowed that down so many of the mom & pop’s still exist. I highlight my favorites in my Key's Guide!

We loved it!

I can not say enough good things about Carol and the condo she so graciously allowed us to check into with short notice. The attention to detail from the decorations to the comfort of the King Bed (memory foam was amazing!) was beyond our expectations and we feel very fortunate to have found this unit. My husband is quite the cook so we were beyond pleased to find a fully stocked kitchen with pans, utensils and appliances. Additionally, there were plenty of towels for everyone and the beach towels were also fabulous. You will want for nothing if you stay here. Carol even provides a wagon in the unit in case you need to transport things from your car or to the onsite beach. The grounds are very lush and we did some fishing off of the jetty located on the property which also was great. My kids loved the lagoon, complete with live fish, and we were even entertained one morning by some resident iguanas. The pool tower was awesome - we didn't want to ever leave. If we ever go back to Key Largo, this is the place I would stay!

Terrific stay- has everything you need and MUCH MORE!!!!!

We will definitely be returning to Carol's condo in Key Largo!! From the minute we walked in the door we loved the condo, the owner is fabulous she went out of her way to make our stay unforgettable. The beach decor is really lovely. The condo was spotless, very well stocked with linens, the beds were so comfortable, the kitchen...ah, let's just say it's magnificent...it's got everything just like you are at home, the lay out of the unit is wonderful. My family wanted to fish- no problem fishing pole, cooler, red wagon, etc, all in the utility closet... Not sure what you want to see or do? No problem she has a mini guide on the lovely granite counter , need internet access? Yes the condo has internet access and every room has a TV....The community itself is terrific wonderful sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed sitting in the gazebo by the jetty. The lagoon and pool were relaxing too. We raved about how wonderful our trip was friends have already asked for information about this condo unit in hopes of planning another trip. Can't wait until we can return and you can bet we will want to stay right here!!'

Thoughtful Details - At Home Feel - Amazing Hospitality!

You will LOVE this amazing condo! It’s a perfect expression of Key’s condo in a great location, marina, grocery, private pools, gated property, and spacious layout. Then it goes to another level thanks to a remarkable owner, Carol. WOW!! We had the privilege of staying here for a week in June, from the moment we walked in we had an unmistakable “at home” feeling. Carol has done a fantastic job decorating with an island feel and look. It’s tasteful, updated, fresh, fun. Local colors and art make you know you are in the islands, right down to the teak furniture. Then Carol takes it over the top by covering every..single..detail...right down to the cheese grater! Who thinks of stocking their rental condo with a cheese grater?? CAROL does!! I made a key lime pie and wanted lime zest and didn’t think twice that this condo would have one, I looked in in two cabinets and sure enough, there it was! From the fully stocked kitchen, even chef knives, the shampoo hanging on the wall in the shower, the stocked essential spices, paper products, condiments, washer and dryer, beach and pool toys, two sets of keys when the family is in two places, the incredibly comfortable memory foam beds, every details is covered. We discovered Island Dolphin Care, amazing facility committed to care of special needs children through interaction with dolphins. Our special needs daughter Abby had a magical day with the dolphins and experienced the transforming integration of therapy with dolphins. Carol’s condo is located 2 blocks away! It’s the perfect location and perfect setting for an extended stay while working with Island Dolphin Care. We are hoping to come back and stay for a month! Carol’s hospitality was obvious from our first interaction when I had a challenge with PayPal, she worked with me to resolve the issue and get us in on schedule. Her commitment to hospitality continued to the very end when she allowed us to extend our stay to participate in the dolphin program with our daughter. At every step of the way she was available to make our stay comfortable, convenient, and “right at home". Every time we walked into this condo we breathed a sigh of relief as if we were walking into our own home. It’s a testimony to Carol’s commitment to serve the needs of her guests that you can feel “at home” in her condo. It’s a mark of someone with the gift of hospitality to feel that spirit of “welcome home” even when the owner is not present! We will be back to our Key Largo home ASAP!

Although, I am probably not be available for massage during your stay (unless you come to Miami - my office is located near Miami Airport), I can get a recommendation from local friends. Questions welcome. I will answer as thoroughly as I possibly can. It's a challenge to make a decision on where to stay, especially if you don't know the area. From Key Largo you can take day trips throughout the Florida Keys or visit some areas in Miami-Dade during your stay. So ask away. Be sure to view comments from previous renters - see what made them happy with their choice to stay at my condo.

I chose the Tower at Kawama for its spacious layout, Oceanside location and easy access from Miami. The Lagoon is also my favorite swimming hole and not something that other condos have! Kawama Yacht Club hugs the Ocean - set back from Overseas Highway (US1) you do not have the constant buzz from traffic along US1. In Key Largo you're just a short drive to Miami and can enjoy all of the other Keys during your stay. When you're ready to head home....you don't face a long drive through the Keys to Florida City just to begin your journey. Living in Miami, Key Largo is an easy quick get away for myself & friends. My Condo has the Short Term Rental Permit allowing Short term and Weekly Rentals (Monroe County has recently limited short term rentals through enforcement. Only a few properties can rent less than 28 Night rentals).

Kawama Tower has a pool for Tower residents only. It is located next to the marina. Other renters at Kawama are not permitted, so DO NOT disclose the gate code to anyone!

Kawama Yacht Club has a Saltwater Lagoon with a sandy beach at one end and small deck at the other; there are floating decks along the length. The community is on the Ocean with a Beach which leads to the Jetty; Tennis Courts, Marina & Boat Ramp, Slip rentals Available through the Marina Management. I can put you in touch with them after you have confirmed your rental. ALL Boats brought on to the property require $300,000 Liability Insurance)

Even though Kawama is an ocean side, from the jetty you can enjoy the colorful light show as the sun begins to set. Many enjoy casting a fishing line off the jetty - however if you want dinner, I suggest the deep sea fishing charters - anything you can't eat while you're here, you are welcome to leave in the freezer for me, it won't go to waste ;-) !

The Jetty is actually State Park Land; access is limited to Kawama Yacht Club. This was a helicopter landing pad during WWII. Now it's a lovely place to congregate, watch the sunset, meditate or, my personal favorite, early morning Yoga.

A frequent comment is how well furnished & stocked my condo is, especially by people who are used to sparsely furnished rentals & timeshares. I make every effort to provide as much as possible for your comfort and convenience during your stay. Occasionally things are removed/broken by previous guests. Let me know if there's something you expected & didn't find, so at least I'll know it needs to be replaced. My renovated Kitchen provides additional cabinet space with plenty of room for food. I welcome your suggestions and appreciate knowing if something is not as it should be so I can remind the cleaner...mistakes happen.

Key Largo is perfect for peaceful stay & convenient for day trips to explore all of the Keys.
