One of our favorite VRBO properties as well as one of favorite owners. Property just as described and Seth was so easy and kind to work with.

The house is spacious and cute. The two bedrooms upstairs have window units. Although the house has central air, it doesn’t work very well upstairs so that area, even with the window units, stays warm. The garage game room was also warm and the basketball score tracker wasn’t working. The location is very convenient to town amenities and Kroger grocery. Another consideration is if you’re driving a big car, getting out of the driveway is challenging. The street is narrow and no parking is allowed on the house’s side. However, on the opposite side parking is allowed for those residents. There is also a church/preschool next door which members use the street for parking and traveling through. Frustrating.

Enjoyed the stay. It was convenient and had lots of restaurants within walking distance, and a grocery store was less than a mile away. Hot tub was a nice addition for my teenagers.

We had a wonderful stay in Lexington. The house is located in the cutest neighborhood with so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The house was clean and had every amenity we could hope for. We really enjoyed the garage with all the fun games. Seth was very communicative and checked on us several times throughout our stay. If you are going to the Lexington area I wouldn’t hesitate to book this house!

Alyssa, seeing your review genuinely made my day — hearing that Melrose felt like the kind of place where everything just works is exactly what we're going for over there. Glad the game room delivered. That garage gets a lot of love, and it's always nice when guests actually dig into it rather than just walk past it. Hope it gave you and your crew a solid excuse to stay in for at least one evening. Lexington has a way of sneaking up on people, and it sounds like the neighborhood did its thing. If you ever make it back this way, I'd love to have you at 834 again. — Seth

We loved this house so much! It was in a great area that was very convenient to the University of Kentucky as well as downtown Lexington. We had great communication with Seth, and he made sure that everything went very smoothly from the time we checked into the time that we left. The house is so cute and quaint and has so much character. It was very well equipped with everything that we needed and the hot tub was enjoyed by our two older children. We would definitely recommend staying at this home and we will definitely book this home again whenever we are in the Lexington area

Lexington getaway

Beautifully decorated and very roomy. Varying degrees of noise from neighbors who played loud music until 2:00 am but then it must have been graduation from University of Kentucky nearby. Very close to great dining and shopping. Will stay here again and bring my earplugs just in case. Thanks Seth for your excellent attention to details!

Nice house, central to bars, restaurants in Chevy Chase neighborhood. Comfortable beds, good communication from Seth. Some negatives, not enough silverware for 8 people- only 4 forks. The garage game room was being redone so we could not use it and did not know this until we arrived. owners workmen up and down driveway and blocking drive as they accessed garage for tools and cut wood- multiple times over multiple days- very little privacy or quiet as we tried to use back patio with all the construction traffic. He did send Spaulding doughnuts which helped a little.
