We had a great weekend! Cozy and clean while located in a perfect spot. Pet friendly was a bonus! Our dog loved it! Would definitely come back!

Cozy Cabin was absolutely perfect and so romantic! Private one bedroom and one bath cabin near Deep Creek Lake very close to some water near the north side where most stores are located. Stayed there during the end of the summer 2026, August for my birthday. Absolutely no backyard but if you need grass/yard to let a small dog out what’s there is fine. The coffee maker is a combo “pod” or large size coffee filter which works great. Gotta have coffee, especially for the porch. Nice but bring an outside chair for the front porch. Very quiet location. Parking for more than one car or truck would be tight if you have a trailer or something on backside of vehicle like a cooler etc. You have plenty of blankets in the closet. But bring your towels if you’re a person who showers daily and if you need a towel for your hair. Probably can request some more if needed. They provide a welcome bag with dish soap and info. WiFi was good. Two TV’s and Netflix is fine. Lighting is dim but there’s not a lack of light just “cozy cabin” style lighting. No hairdryer but there’s plenty of plugs everywhere if you bring a power strip and extension cords to plug things in for the bed nightstand. Bed was not bad, just not extra firm feeling but that’s ok. Location is really terrific! A/C worked great! Ceiling fans are on or off without much choice there but glad to have them since it gets warm in August. Thank you so much, the whole process was so easy and we enjoyed our visit! Hope to return again soon

2 issues floors where so dirty made my feet black just walking on the floors in the house We lost power around 4pm the power did not get restored until 230am zero response from rental company about the power. No candles or lanterns in the home none Thank god the grill worked so we cooked dinner on the grill

This was the BEST stay we've had in Deep Creek and we've been coming here for 15 years now. My son and I decided to Dunk at the Deep Creek Dunk last minute and I found this rental that was perfect for our family of three and our dog Bodhi. We got in a little after dark but the property left the porch lights on for us, an interior light and got the hot tub warmed up for us which was such a nice touch (it's a bit dark on this road so just remember to bring a flashlight for your pup walks). The house was the cleanest we've ever stayed at and they had all the essentials for us - sheets, clean towels, pet bowls, fire wood etc.

Very pleased

Only concern was perhaps not enough rugs for my dog to walk around comfortably. The wood floor was slippery and hard for him to grip when he walked on them. Otherwise, extremely please with my stay! I will certainly be visiting this place again in the future

Perfect

It was a perfect little getaway for my husband and I of 15 years. We left the kids with family for the weekend and took some time for us. It was everything as pictured cozy, quiet, and relaxing. Which is what we needed to reconnect as husband and wife.

End of Summer Stay

For context to my review, my Dad and I stayed 5 nights/4 days and we were here to enjoy the last part of summer horseback riding, jet skiing on the lake, and hiking. If you like peace and quiet (outside of slight noise from Garrett Highway) and want to spend your time outdoors, this is your place. Very nice covered front porch and expansive fire pit area. The property was well-maintained inside and outside and the Vrbo listing was as advertised.

Cozy cottage weekend

Wonderful house ! Peaceful happy weekend. The propane for the grill was empty. Called and let someone know. Propane was promised but never delivered. No biggie, to us!

Cozy Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The wifi worked most of the time, but there were times it went out. The location was perfect. The cabin has a nice wood stove. The check-in and check-out process was the easiest I have ever seen. Deep Creek Lake is a beautiful escape for relaxation and peace. We recommend going to Swallow Falls to see the waterfalls.

Cozy cabin

Cozy cabin is just as advertised. Very quiet mountain community. Close to everything but secluded. Good for couples wanting peace and quiet. Nice fire pit!
