It is always our goal to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for our guests, and I regret that we fell short in this instance. I understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive and find the view obstructed and the balcony door blocked due to unpreventable resort maintenance. We strive to keep our listings accurate and up-to-date, and I appreciate your input as it helps us improve our communication regarding any ongoing work that may affect our guests. Fortunately, as of early August 2025 the work has been completed in our area and guests are able to enjoy the beautiful ocean view and a fresh coat of paint. I want to clarify that a full owner refund was issued promptly in light of the circumstances, and we also covered the cleaning fee to ensure you were not further inconvenienced. Additionally, there was the opportunity to cancel with a 100% refund over two weeks ahead of your stay when we were notified by management that work was to begin and chose to keep the reservation.
