It’s a good property in serious need of maintenance. On a good note it was mostly clean on arrival and the beds and bedding comfortable. Gorgeous views of ocean and canal. However the pictures didn’t reflect that the carpet is seriously stained, the furniture worn and broken. The porch furniture has only a few chairs that are usable and only one porch has any furniture. The ice maker doesn’t work and the dishwasher racks fall out. Couldn’t use the washer because the mold and the smell was bad. With some interior and exterior maintenance this could be an excellent rental.

House was perfect for our party of 10! Great proximity to the beach, well appointed kitchen w/ everything we needed, very clean, very comfortable!! I would absolutely recommend this property & hope to rebook!

This was a great beach house for our group of 8, 6 adults and 2 young teens. It was roomy and very comfortable. Check in process was effortless. Beach access is very convenient and we rented chairs and umbrellas a few days from Pleasure Island Rental. That worked out great. It could use more deck furniture on most of the decks. The top ocean front deck had adequate furniture, but that door was so hard to open. It needs some attention for sure. Other than that, this house was fantastic. We would love to stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing.

Dock Holiday was a nice house to spend a week at the beach. There was plenty of space to spread out for our group of 10. The location and walk to the beach was perfect. The location was also close enough to walk to the boardwalk. For the most part the kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals. There were a few minor blips but overall I would rent Dock Holiday again. We really enjoyed Carolina Beach!

Perfect location for a mothers and daughters weekend. Across the street from the beach access. Close to the boardwalk. Even despite not so great weather we had the best time.

Love this beach house

This beach house was enjoyed during our family stay.. The beach house was cleaned and all furnishings were up to date. The elevator assisted greatly with bringing up from the vehicles.It was plenty of room and the view of the beach was phenomenal.

Overall, would 100% stay again

We loved the property. It was nice and had everything we needed for our group. Some cons: -We weren't able to fully get into the house at the check in time as the cleaners were still working on it. This wasn't a huge issue besides there was NO communication on it. We showed up and the cleaners informed us. -There was multiple spots on the carpet (which was freshly shampooed to try to clean it) and broken items. We did notify the management company and they offered to come fix it which we didn't reject as we just wanted to enjoy our time there. Nothing major, just something that will hopefully be fixed. -There was barely any toilet paper, trash bags or paper towels. We had to buy all of those during our stay. Some bathrooms had a partial toilet paper roll in them and some had none. -watch walking on the balcony without shoes as there were come exposed nail heads Pros: -beautiful home -plenty of parking -proximity to the beach -elevator was an amazing touch! -super nice home, decorated nicely, comfy furniture Overall, we loved the home and would love to come back. None of the above items were deal breakers by any means. Highly recommend staying here.

We are currently doing maintenance on all our properties, including deep cleans and fixing all maintenance issues so that they will be all ready for you when summer comes back around. Additionally, we would love to be able to provide more toiletries and kitchen cleaning supplies but with as many properties as we have, it is impossible for us to provide this for every guest. We do thank you for understanding and hope you will stay with us again!

The Weed/Sorrells Clan

My family (consisting of myself, husband, 3 adult kids, and our 2 dogs), along with other family members immensely enjoyed our 2 week stay in Dock Holiday. The home is well appointed with comfortable furnishings, the views of both the ocean and sound were amazing, and the elevator made everything so much easier! Dock Holiday suited our needs perfectly, and I would not hesitate to rent this property again. Also, there were a few minor issues that we needed to contact the realty company about, and they were very responsive and quick to see to our needs.

Great views

Although not on water, we had views of the sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the waterway. Beautiful layout and plenty of amenities.

We loved it. Great family location

It was everything you could ask for: beautiful location (look east to see the ocean and west to see the inland waterway) all from the 3rd floor balconies.

Great property for a Carolina beach getaway!

The property was clean and everything was in place for us to unpack and begin enjoying the beach. The proximity to the Boardwalk was great and allowed us to enjoy all of the shops and restaurants we love. Also the elevator was great help for family members that cannot walk up lots of steps. It also provides easy access to the beach with two close access points just steps away from the front door. Overall, the entire family was pleased with the space for everyone to have their own room, relax and be close to all of the things we enjoy about being at Carolina Beach.
