Jill was the best host I have ever encountered. She was so communicative and responsive. She went above and beyond to make for the best stay possible. She is so kind and made “lemonade”out of lemons for everyone in a literal natural disaster. The property is beautiful and clean.We will definitely book from her if we stay in the area. We cannot thank Jill enough for everything!

This trip was amazing. We have four mini vacations that we are stringing together. This area was our least favorite but the stay was our most. Jill was very communicative, helpful, and thoughtful of our specific situation with a baby and a toddler. There were plenty of tools and dishes in the kitchen, linens, towels, beach towels… great balconies. We didn’t even get to use the downstairs patio because we ran out of time. We will 100% book with Jill again if we decide to come back to the area. It was like being at home it was so well put together.

My family of 5 had a great trip. Easy access to beach and very nice place. Very clean and everything was in great shape. Host was great. Lots of stuff to use at the beach. Beds were very comfortable. Beach was not crazy busy even on July 4th weekend. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house in Gary, Indiana, from July 9–13. The home was clean, comfortable, spacious, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was convenient and perfect for enjoying the beach and spending quality time with family and friends. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and how welcoming the home felt throughout our stay. The host was responsive and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this property to others and would be happy to stay here again!

The condo was perfect for our stay at The Dunes! We had a great time and Jill was an excellent host!!! The hospitality was wonderful and she gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. She wvn handled a wasp nest situation while we were there! We really couldn't have asked for a better host!

The property owners thought of everything you could need to maximize your vacation experience. The house is comfortable, clean, and modern, and the snacks and extras provided by the host make settling in quick and easy. It's located a short walk to the beach, the west entrance to Indiana Dunes NP is just down the road, and the train station is within 10 minutes. The host provided an abundance of helpful information. We couldn't have had a better experience!

Cute beach house with everything

Great townhome. Teen loved separate sleeping area and her own bathroom. Literal walk to a beautiful beach. Our stay included a pass to the Dunes National Park, which was amazing. House had everything we needed, and our host was gracious and attentive. Upstairs was a little warm, but it was literally the heat dome week, and downstairs stayed cool. Would recommend for families looking for great beaching hiking fishing and canoeing.

All the comforts of home! Everything was great for our two families (two adults and four kids ages 9-13). Big thumbs up from both kids and adults. So many fun things....walk to beach (beach towels and chairs were very handy), games, s'mores, fully equipped kitchen - even a few starter snacks! The park pass was also much appreciated. Jill was very responsive and has clearly put thought into what will provide guests with a great stay - such as labeling items and great instructions. Plenty of supplies, bedding, pillows and outlets. All around a fantastic experience!I left a note on a couple of things. The screen for the upper deck appeared to have already been damaged when we first went to use it. I accidentally detached/broke a window shade pull in the main bedroom...am hoping those are relatively easy to replace. Many thanks for your hospitality!!

Great fun at the Dunes

Second year staying here and love the location right by the National Park. Condo is cozy, light and efficient with a quick walk to the beach.

Lovely home

Beautiful home where they’ve thought of everything you could need for a beach vacation-a very short walk to the beach -could hear waves from the bedroom. Also very close to the national park-hiked there almost every day

Affordable beach getaway

Overall I think Jill was the best host I have ever experienced with VRBO (been using for several years). She was so thoughtful and kind. The property was beautiful and truly included more amenities than listed. The beach was just a quick walk away. The whole experience was amazing.

Beachside townhouse with everything needed to spend the day at the and a wonderful host!!

This home is a few min walk to miller beach and includes pretty much anything you would need to stay at the beach for the day. We used the grill a few times and the gas fire pit on the back patio which is super cozy. The best place we have ever stayed and our kids loved it. We even got to watch some deer and lizards pass through on the back patio. The host was amazing! We definitely want to come back. We have no negatives about our stay here :) You won’t regret staying here!

Peaceful Place

This was the ideal place for me and my two adult children to reconnect with our Indiana roots, and enjoy all NW Indiana has to offer. Jill, could not have been a more attentive host. The house has everything you could possibly need, including 16 ways to make coffee. (you are bound to find at least one of them to your liking). This was the most well stocked vacation home I have ever been too...not only the kitchen, but also beach chairs, towels, and a wagon to cart everything. Being one block from one of the best beaches was a bonus. Jill and her husband did an extraordinary job of not only creating a beautiful space, but connecting with us along the way to make sure all was well. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Great Management

The house was clean and well stocked and managed. There wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't available. Best VRBO experience our family has had to date. I highly recommend this location!!

The Best Lake Michigan Vacation Secret

Although "Lovely Home" accurately describes this vacation house, the pictures do not do it justice! This space was perfect for our family of five. We had enough room to spread out while still being connected. The owners were diligent with communication before during and after our trip. This allowed them to make sure every comfort was available for our family. They clearly made adjustments to the property to make it inviting not just for my spouse and I but for our children (10, 8, and 2). It felt like an upscale vacation rental while being homey at the same time. Can we talk about the location?! The walking distance to two such lovely beaches was priceless - especially during the Fourth of July holiday week when we stayed. While the line of cars stretched far around the neighborhood for beach access we were able to quickly and easily grab a spot on the sand. Not only that, but the owners know the area and provided many tips such as how to avoid the crowds. We enjoyed time on the beach whenever weather allowed. This home may have also turned us into hikers! We visited both Indiana Dunes State and National Park on multiple days. It was too easy not to! Overall, we would 100% recommend this home and equally desire to return to make more memories.

Great stay!

Attention to detail, well stocked kitchen. 1 block from nice beach with beach chairs & umbrella, beach wagon. Bikes with available tire pump if needed. Gas grill, gas fire pit, outdoor seating. Separation of bedrooms upstairs/downstairs was a plus for us with our adult children. Bathroom spaces excellent. The only slight negative was the high volume of cars at the corner intersection especially on a nice Saturday beach day waiting to park. Communication with Jill was excellent! Will return if visiting the area

Lovely home close to beach
