The hot tub was incredible. The house felt even bigger than it looked in pictures and was beautiful. A couple of the TVs had issues, one had no sound. Overall the house is gorgeous and the view is phenomenal

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our house accommodated all of us. The house definitely could use some work. The floor in kitchen is damaged, jets in hot tub barely work. The pizza oven was not working as well as the griddle, both of which we had counted on for our meals. The splash pad was a huge hit with the littles. It is a great location. Huge compliments to maintenance. When we had a concern that needed repair or garbage pickup they were on it. The cleaning people could do a better job cleaning and sweeping floors.

Great place with some downsides.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at The Pillars cabin through "Elk Springs Resort" (https://reference-url-citation.invalid/0) with our extended family. The cabin itself was very large and spacious, which made it a good fit for a big group. The location was excellent, and the views of both the city and the mountains were beautiful.Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay.Check-in was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but we were unable to get into the cabin until after 6:00 PM because it had not been cleaned yet. After traveling and coordinating a large family, this was very frustrating. Management did apologize for the delay, which we appreciated, but no compensation or accommodation was offered.We were also disappointed that several amenities listed in the rental description were unavailable. The listing mentioned a smoker, grill, griddle, and pizza oven, but upon check-in we received a text saying none of those were working. This was especially disappointing because we had planned a pizza night for our family.There were also several maintenance issues inside the cabin. The pool table was broken, and the refrigerator door seal was damaged and taped together with blue painter’s tape, causing the door not to seal properly. Thankfully we did not lose any food, but we constantly had to check to make sure the refrigerator door was fully closed.The cabin was not filthy, but it also was not as clean as we expected, especially considering the delayed check-in for cleaning. The beds were uncomfortable, and both the beds and floors were extremely noisy, making it difficult to move around without waking others.One additional note for families with young children: the hot water gets extremely hot. While it made for great long showers, parents should use caution, as the water temperature could easily be too hot for small children.On a positive note, the Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay.Overall, T

Gorgeous home with beautiful views

Quick response time when contacting the host. Highly recommend this home for large groups. Make sure to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. The front door is a little tricky to lock when exiting. The house does have bedrooms/bathrooms in the basement that are handicap accessible but it’s a steep incline to wheel around the back of the house to get into the main floor.

Great Place To Stay!

Each person had space to spread out, yet there was plenty of room for us to all come together to plan. I particularly enjoyed the size of the kitchen as I was the cook over the weekend. We did get 14" of snow while we were there, but the house was located close enough to the main road that we were able to get in and out without issue. The property managers were very responsive to our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Only part of the burners worked. Would have been awesome to have a black stone but we made it work! The tvs didn’t work in the bedrooms. We couldn’t get any of them to connect to the dvd players or cable box. Overall it was great for our needs. We will likely plan to book here again next year!

Family Reunion for 30

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a very good experience. Only had a couple of real issues that the staff was very quick to address. We had a large group and the trash filled up quickly, and I sent a message that they responded to almost immediately. One of the washing machines malfunctioned and they sent someone within an hour or so. Beyond that, my only real complaint is the technology could use an upgrade. The internet was unreliable and because the cell data signal isn’t great due to location, the internet was basically unusable for those in our group that needed to connect for work. The TVs were a bit confusing and dated. The projectors outside and in the theater room worked but required some hoop-jumping to get them working. The good news is we weren’t there to work or watch TV so that part was more of a nuisance than a real problem. Overall very happy with our decision to stay there and would stay again. Great location, great view and a great space for large gatherings.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family vacation in the Smokies was comfortable and entertained in this lovely spacious home. First Smokies rental our family has all agreed on booking again for our next vacation. Very clean on arrival. Maintenance was promp in responding to text and sending maintenance. We did have a few issues that were challenging for our large group. Refrigerator wasn’t maintaining its appropriate temperature and by the end of the week we had spoiled food. Maintenance came to evaluate a few times, noting the problem but didn’t change the fridge out. Also, the air conditioning in the kitchen was not strong enough to cool the room. There were 3 floor vents blowing air and the room needed at least 6. We used fans to blow cool air from nearby room which helped some. The rest of the house had perfect air conditioning. Both of these issues are still not enough to keep us away. Home was still wonderful and we’ll certainly be returning! Overall would encourage other large family to stay too!

Great, large space but dirty and needs TLC & updating badly

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and property are amazing with 9 bedrooms and so much space! It also has some really unique features- the sauna, videogame, movie room and the splash pad was a big hit with our kids and we enjoyed the big screen outside as well! Unfortunately, the house was not very clean with really dirty carpets and rugs that desperately need to be replaced. All the woodwork was VERY dirty and would look a thousand times better if they would just take a magic eraser to it or paint. Don't think we'll be back to the Pillars unless some serious updating and a deep cleaning occurs.

Amazing house

The house is amazing, very large and lots of amenities. My only complaint is several of the TV cable boxes didn’t work. A few broken door knobs also.

It also had extremely slow wifi. We ended having to use someone’s hotspot and it was still slow. Bring additional blankets there is no additional bedding.
