10.0 experience start to finish. The listing for this property is completely accurate, however, the experience irl blows away the pictures! Dave and sue are excellent hosts. Offering a beautiful property that is impeccably clean, packed with all the essentials that you would need from beach chairs to a cooler to snorkeling equipment as well as a stocked kitchen if you're interested in cooking. They are communicative, reliable hosts who made everything efficient and easy. The location is perfect with stunning views of the fish ponds and the ocean in the distance. Walkable beach to chill at and swim. We loved having the nearby shopping center to grab coffee and breakfast in the morning as well as have easy access to a food market, and restaurants. Also, the location is proximare to other amazing beaches, restaurants and shops that are nearby if you're interested to explore beyond Mauna Lani. Also, it was nice to have two high end hotels walkable to the condo where we took advantage of the bars and restaurants. The big island is beautiful and relaxing. And this condo is the perfect place for a vacation home base! Comfy, spacious, and well appointed. We spent many hours on the lanai taking in the beautiful view and feeling grateful to be there!

We had a fantastic stay at Mauna Lani Terraces. The property was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed, making it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The amenities were excellent, and the location was ideal—convenient while still providing a relaxing atmosphere.What truly set this rental apart was the responsiveness of the owners. They were incredibly communicative, helpful, and quick to answer any questions, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay.

Owners Dave and Sue are right on it! Their pre-arrival packet was very complete and answered all my questions and then some. I hope to come again, however I'm retired and on a fixed income and Hawaii has become quite expensive!!!

This condo exceeded expectations. VERY well equipped, easy in/out access, as seniors very appreciated. 4 min walk to Mauna Lani resort. VERY clean, plenty of towels, washer/dryer easy to use. Would happily stay here again.

This condo is beautifully appointed and Dave is a wonderful host. He was very responsive. We loved the view of the fish pond and ocean from our lanai. It was kitted out with everything we needed from olive oil/vinegar in the kitchen to chairs, towels, and umbrellas for the beach. We loved the short walk across the fish ponds to the beach club. It was a nice, sheltered beach with excellent snorkeling and a restaurant that did smoothies to-go. We'd love to stay again!

A perfect stay, very comfortable condo, lovely views and peaceful. The location between the hotel and beach club was great. The lagoon area is really special. The owner accommodated a request very graciously and their communication was excellent, including lots of helpful local information. We come to Hawaii frequently, and this is at the top of our list.

Lovely condo at the Terraces! We appreciated how well stocked it was, as well as the ease of communicating with Dave but, of course, the best aspect of the place was its location. It is just a short walk to the Beach Club or the Auberge hotel. There was ample room for the two of us. We would definitely return.

We’ve been staying in the Mauna Lani Terraces for about ten years and this has been the best condo we’ve rented. The kitchen is fully equipped and there were all the appliances we’d needed. Everything is top of the line and in working order. Our hosts were very helpful, sending information about the area and they made sure we had all we needed. We hope to stay there when we return next year. Thanks Dave & Sue,Eileen & John

Excellent stay at Mauna Lani! Perfect location on the island and Dave and Sue were fabulous hosts - very welcoming and responsive! Condo was pristine and we so appreciated their attention to detail in making guests feel welcome and right at home in their beautiful place! The grounds, pool and beach club were also pristine - we had a really wonderful time and hope to have the opportunity to stay again someday! They set the bar very high!

Great Honeymoon location

We loved the unit with a beautiful view of the fish pond. Short distance from the beach with great snorkeling. They have everything you need. Dave responds with any questions answered. Could not recommend more!

Exceptional!

Everything about our stay at this beautiful condo on the grounds of the Mauna Lani resort was perfect. The unit was decorated beautifully, had stunning views and was furnished with everything you could possibly need. A simple check in/check out experience made our trip stress free! The beautiful lanai views with soft trade wind breezes blowing made it simply blissful. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and the owners thoughtfulness and attention to detail make it the best.

A true Zen experience

This is a beautifully appointed condo complete with lots of extras that made our stay peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio that overlooks the lagoon. The birds chirping and palm trees gently swaying set the mood for our day!Serene, idyllic, and a beautiful paradise retreat pretty much sums it up!

Fabulous Property

Great location, lovely views, peaceful, relaxing. The condo is beautifully furnished and well-equipped, generously provisioned plus has lovely outdoor seating areas. The area has lovely parks, fish ponds and beaches. The condo is close to numerous restaurants and an excellent grocery store. Dave & Sue were a pleasure to deal with and provided extraordinary guidance and information on the area / restaurants / things to do. Highly recommend for a great stay on the Big Island.

Great Place at Mauna Lani

We spent 5 nights at this wonderful condo. It is 1/3 mile from the Aubrege Resort, which we frequent for their drinks, eat at the bar and listen to live Hawaiian music. Good trails from the Condo for whale watching. We will be back.

Beautiful, well-appointed home!

The property is gorgeous! The home is nestled in luscious vegetation, surrounded by a beautiful fish pond. The inside is gorgeous and superbly comfortable, stocked with everything you’d need and leaves one wanting for nothing. Dave and Sue made everything from reservations to check out a breeze and made us feel perfectly at home! We will definitely return!

Beautiful Property and Location

Great location in an unusually lush spot on the Kohala Coast. The Mauna Lani development offers many trails, golf, and restaurants to make it a wonderful Big Island destination stay. The condo was beautifully appointed with even more amenities and conveniences than listed. It was more like staying in the post guest house of a friend than a rental property. The snorkeling around the point at the beach club was unexpectedly fantastic -- some of the best on the Big Island.

Zero Disappointments

This is a very easy review, perfect location that is exactly as advertised and so well stocked and supplied we only bought groceries. We stayed nine nights and had zero disappointments. If you are seeking a resort experience, do much better than a hotel. Room to relax yet within five to 15-minutes you can walk to any of the resort restaurants/ bars. We could not have been more pleased and will not only recommend to others but, of course, return for more. Dave and Susan take pride of ownership and comfort of their guests to heart.

Our Time in Paradise

This was my husband's and my second stay at Sue and Dave's beautiful condo. They have created a wonderful environment for a vacation. Every detail of what you might need is already there in the condo complete with a thick binder on the coffee table answering any question you might have with tons of great suggestion of what to do during your stay. They are always available to answer any question you may have and respond quickly. It has become one our favorite places to go in the world and we will be returning. Thank you, sue & Dave.
