This was the perfect space for our family of 4 adults for a central location to the boutbon trail, disc golfing, and the Red River Gorge. Everything was clean and well stocked, and communication with the owner was amazing. The sofa was the perfect spot to spread out and watch TV after long days and there was plenty of firewood for a fire pit one evening, even though it was hot while we were there. The sunset from on top of the hill was beautiful, and the porch swing out front was my daily morning spot for coffee and watching the sun rise. We had the most fantastic time!

This was the third or fourth time that we’ve stayed at the cabin and we love it. Chris is an amazing host and goes out of his way to make sure that our stay is fantastic. We will continue to stay at this property every time we’re in town. Thanks Chris.

The house was wonderful, perfect for 2 couples. It was very quiet and pleasant. Love the front porch. Some suggestions for improvements: wash or replace the bath mats and shower curtains in both bathrooms. The floors could have been better cleaned, especially around the toilet and in corners. The sheets were thin and rough.

The cabin smelled so fresh and clean when we walked in! We had breakfast on the porch each morning. One morning we saw a doe and her 2 fawns walk across the road the through the property! We liked that it was centrally located to many activities. We enjoyed the walk up the ‘grassy hill’ on the property after so many good eats! Chris was very responsive when we had questions!

This cabin was absolutely amazing. My friends and I spent every night downstairs listening to music and talking about what bourbon tour we did that day and which one was planned for the next. Beautiful views on the property and around town. The owner was friendly and very responsive and understanding when some of our guest list changed throughout the week. 10/10, 5 STARS, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! All of us are already talking about our next trip!

Loved the comfort, cleanliness and lay out of the inside of the cabin. Convenient to distilleries and restaurants. We are outdoor people and loved sitting on the front porch looking at nature (including the deer that came by each night).

We stayed at the Green cabin for a Bouron Trail weekend with another couple. The location was great. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked. We ate breakfast on the front porch. We would definitely stay again. The host, Chris was very responsive. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The cabin was PERFECT for our long weekend in bourbon/horse country!! It was central to Franklin (bourbon riverboat tour) and Lexington (Kentucky 3 Day Event)...no more than a 20 min or so drive to each excursion. Coming back each evening to the Green Cabin was wonderful! The area is quiet and peaceful. The cabin amenities were great! Kitchen was well stocked with all tools/appliances needed to fix light meals. We appreciated the thoughtful detail of complementary snacks and coffee to get us started, and even a few shots of Kentucky bourbon!! By design, we ate larger meals out, but you could easily shop in town and fix full-scale meals in the kitchen or on the grill. Wish we had stayed long enough to use the fire pit -- looked so inviting! LOVED the K3DE, and if we return, will be sure to book the Green Cabin! Thank you...:-)

It was a nice quiet location. It was wonderful that there was cofffee, snacks and water provided when we arrived. Our biggest concern was the running toilet and the fact that our sheets didn’t really fit the bed and kept coming off. Other than non fitting sheets and the constant running toilet we would go back.

Thanks for the good review! We strive for 10/10 on reviews so we wish you would have let us know you were experiencing issues during your stay so we could address them. The toilet you mentioned is scheduled to be upgraded, so we apologize for any inconveniences this caused during your stay. Regarding the sheets not fitting this is the first time since listing our property this has been brought to our attention, we have queen sheets for queen size mattresses. However, we will investigate to try and address this issue for future guests. We hope that if you’re in the area in the future you decide to rebook and that our property meets your expectations. Thank you.
