The host was great, and the location was excellent. However, I felt the property was somewhat overpriced for what it offered.One thing that really surprised us was being required to either purchase a 119 damage insurance policy or leave a 5,000 security deposit, with the return of that deposit left to the host's discretion. We've rented many vacation properties over the years, and this is the first time we've ever been required to purchase insurance. We always treat rental homes as if they were our own and have never received any complaints or incurred any damages.There were also a few disappointments with the property itself. No towels were provided, and we found spider webs in the bathrooms, which gave the impression that the home had not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.Overall, the host and location were positives, but the additional insurance requirement, combined with the condition of the property, made the experience less enjoyable than we had expected.
