Regency Towers Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great! The condo was spacious and nice and was located in a great spot a little bit away from the busiest areas. The only issue was the main elevator kept going out of service multiple times during the week.

Dirty condo, holes in the 2nd bedroom wall where the curtain rods go. Horrible smell as we walked in. Dirty knives and silverware. The couch and love seat were so dirty I had to put blankets down. The balcony mat was filthy and mushy. The tv in the bedroom was on a make-shift stand inside an armoire that is falling apart. The vents in both bathrooms were covered in mold. Just highly disappointed all around. We've been going to PCB and Destin for over 10yrs and by far the worst I've seen. Would not go back or recommend.

Overall we had a great stay. We had a few issues that we talked with the host about, however it was towards the end of our stay that things were finally being done about the issues. We will definitely give them another chance though.

The pictures posted on VRBO when we booked were taken years ago. The unit is in need of freshening up. The elevators were a problem all week in that sometimes a unit would not be working which overloaded the other 2 units. Three elevators for 14 floors with approximately 26 rooms on each floor is not good when all three units are not working.We did Call about a shower not working correctly. Two maintenance personnel did come by to fix, but were not able to fix. We were told a Plumbing Company would be by to fix the next day. We had seen a notice in the elevators advising a water shutoff Thursday morning 7-11am. I did call to make sure Maintenance knew of the outage and to find out how this might affect the repairs by the plumbing company. ECDi Property management did respond to an email, but the shower still did not get fixed.

Overall a pretty good stay. No major issues. I would stay here again if the price were lower. Unit could use updating though. This is our second stay at Regency Towers and it was fun as always. Pros: Awesome view of the ocean and pools. Nice patio set on porch. Unit came with 2 sets of chairs/umbrellas you can reserve on the beach! Unit cooled pretty decently at night. Couches were comfortable. TVs had every app you could think of. 2 of the 3 beds were comfortable. Good sun blocking curtains in second bedroom. Board games in the master closet. Ceiling fans worked great. Clothes hangers in closets and good storage in bedrooms. Decently clean upon arrival though sand is expected to still be on the floors somewhat. Cons: Air filter in the A/C closet was extremely filthy, at least an inch of dust. I was honestly fearful it was a fire hazard though I noticed late in the stay. You could tell it hadn’t been changed for a very, very long time. Sand all over the master bedroom spread. Dirty dishes were still in the dishwasher (I didn’t touch those). Bathtubs are very outdated and unappealing. (No bath time here, only showers) Master bedroom is extremely bright at nighttime (unit is so close to the lights around the pool) and in the mornings with sheer curtains you will wake up as soon as the sun rises.

Do not book through VRBO, they do absolutely nothing for you, just charge a fee to book through them. Always book directly through the place you want to stay. As far as regency towers, it’s an ok place to stay, safe, secure, and decently priced. Unfortunately their elevators stayed broken more than they stayed working during our stay and the amount of maintenance ongoing was a little much for peak season. I know maintenance needs to be done on properties but the stuff they were doing were things that could have been done during the off season in my opinion.

Perfect girls getaway

Mostly updated. Some weird little things haven’t been updated and are dated/yellow but it didn’t affect our stay. Some of the electrical outlets are worn/loose/won’t hold a plug. But overall, it is a great condo. Perfect layout of bedrooms and bathrooms. Beds were super comfortable. Bedrooms are a decent size. Nice little laundry closet so we were able to have fresh beach towels every day. Great view of pools, beach, and gulf from the balcony. The beach service is amazing…..the guys running it are super friendly and accommodating.It was so nice to not have to haul chairs and umbrellas back and forth.

Nice but needs a few updates

This room was nice, but needs a few updates. Regency towers needs an update as well. I’ve stayed here before. The room is larger than other condos, so that’s a plus! Pools were nice.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The owners are extremely nice and I enjoy dealing with them. But this condo is in dire need to be updated. The outlet to the tv barely worked we had to plug and unplug the tv several times and it barely worked half the time. The tile wasn’t done in the kitchen. The bathrooms were outdated. Mainly the toilets and bathtubs. The fridge took an entire day to cool. And every pillow here was flat. I honestly wouldn’t stay here again. I would stay with the company definitely but this condo needs work bad. Also as soon as we got there a used towel was hanging on the door. We was not happy about it at all.

They have 2 large pools, a snack bar with very reasonable prices. They had lots of security guards that always confirmed your stay before they opened the gate. Quality of the bedding could be better. The sheets were rough. Our refrigerator didn’t work and they quickly brought us a very small loaner and assured us they would take care of it the next day however we didn’t get a replacement until 5 days later which was useless at that point we were leaving the next day

The room however, not so much! Outdated, needs repair and mattresses were filthy. Urin and vomit stained! Sleeper sofa was dirty, matress was dirty. Advertised 2 free beach chairs but forget to mention you have to rent the cushions and umbrella, many outlets didn't work. I highly recommend the resort but not condo #0510
