The property was as described. It was close to the zoo and downtown. The neighborhood was a little run down but we felt safe and had no issues. The kitchen had all the necessities. All in all it was a great property and fit our needs.

Clean house especially since it is pet friendly. It is in a not so great neighborhood-we didn't let the kids go outside by themselves. Reminded me more of a college/frat hangout.

The house was cozy and clean. The housekeeper was just finishing up as we arrived. She was very friendly and informative.As we were packing and getting ready to leave, my son-in-law accidentally locked his keys in his van. Our housekeeper and her husband went above and beyond to help us get back into the car! He jumped right in with the men while she made phone calls to help find a locksmith! The price was right, the environment was cozy, and although it was a quick visit to Omaha will definitely consider coming back! Recommend to others as well! Thank you!

This house has a lot of character. Very old but with updated light and sink fixtures. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location is very nice, it seemed like we were 8 to 10 minutes away from everything. There’s a lot to do in Omaha and I think we did it all lol my only complaint is they need a laundry basket in house. The host was very attentive and friendly.

Very comfortable and clean accommodations. All in our party were very impressed with all aspects of the arrangements. The keyless access was brilliant! Very family friendly and, although pet are allowed, we chose not to bring ours. The host was exceptionable with follow-through.

The host was fantastic, the house charming. The neighborhood isn’t great. But we enjoyed walking to Home Grown restaurant for breakfast. The house sleeps a good number of people and the beds were comfortable.

Awesome location and the house had everything we needed! Blackstone area and midtown are walking distance (fun stuff to do, bars, restaurants). The property managers were great and so was the cleaning staff! Short Uber/Lyft to downtown also. I would stay again!

Overall the place is very spacious, however you get what you pay for. The house is obviously old and everything squeaks and cracks. The downstairs is musty smelling, so use the humidifier. There have been pets in this house because our clothes were covered in pet hair.

Historic

My overall summary is that the accuracy of the photo's is false. Dove up to the place and found the outside of the property not maintained. When you look at the property photos it looks vibrant and a nice neighborhood. Well its not. (Please reference pics below) The inside of property is old and dingy, but clean. Window frames cracking and painted over. Both porches were old and rotten looking. Inside of property is like grandma's house clean but old, lighting dim. Linnen old. In the pics the place looks vibrant. Its not.

The photos represent the house, it is an historic home and we make that clear on the listing. Some people don't like historic homes because the floors creak and smell like old wood. This guest sent me a photo of a crack in what is the original historic woodwork and said there were termites. I could go on but i think it can be seen that this property was not for this guest. Thank you.

Thin walls loud neighborhood

The remodeled bathrooms were nice and the house had charm, the rooms were drafty, two of the kitchen cabinet doors were coming off the hinges. The neighborhood is loud in general and you can hear the tenants next door through the walls. Not a great place for small children, no door going to the basement bedroom which was dangerous. It a good place for a bachelor or bachelorette party.

This is midtown Omaha, it's Omaha's urban core and one of the highest rent areas of town. I guess some people aren't used to urban but we do make it clear in the listing that it's an historic home with creaky floors and it's in an urban area. The photos are complete and the steep stairs are disclosed as well. Sorry you didn't enjoy it.

Overall good

The house was as expected and the neighborhood was in a great location for all we wanted to do. However, the cleanliness of the house wasn’t what we expected. There were used q tips in the basement bedroom and the sheets smelled of axe body spray so we didn’t think they were properly cleaned. The stairs to the basement didn’t look like they had been vacuumed either. In addition, the doorknob kept falling off of one of the upstairs bedrooms. The hosts/management company did send several messages asking us to tell them if anything was wrong so that they could achieve a 5 star review, but we feel the house should be cleaned and everything in proper order before guests arrive so that they don’t have to be bugged by maintenance or cleaning during their stay. Contacting the host for these items should be a rare occurrence such as a storm, or mechanical failure.

We require our cleaners to send photos of each clean and complete a checklist. We also randomly check our cleaners cleaning job on a regular basis. I reviewed the photos for this day and they looked good but alas if there was a couple of q-tips left and the stairs were not vacuumed I suppose that is possible I don't have a specific photo of the stairs I only have photos of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Which all appear to be spic and span clean. I apologize for the q-tips and the stairs.

Wonderful place, attentive management!!

We arrive to the wonderful place to see that the previous renters reported the refrigerator may not be working. As soon as I confirmed it was not, the management jumped on sort out the issue for us, as we traveled with food that needed refrigerated/frozen. Within a couple hours some maintenance workers showed up with working refrigerator from another unit and hauled it in on a day that was almost 100⁰ and very humid. The place was conveniently located to lots of activities and great food. 100% would book again if in the area!

Family wedding

Lots of character, wonderful bedrooms, the basement space is super cool,we love the exposed brick walls.Lots of hot water in the showers. wonderful air conditioning on the hottest weekend of the month. We were able to walk to 2 different districts for food and fun, very short and inexpensive Uber drive from the airport. Plenty of parking around the house. Perfect amount of amenities.

Great Stay for Large Family

This property was fantastic for our family to stay in. Bathrooms are very nice and beds were very comfortable. Was able to fit all of my family in here. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay - the beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and each room had their own tv. We would highly recommend it for your group. WIFI was strong even in the basement suite.
