Yearly getaway

Very comfortable and well maintained property. Unfortunately, due to ongoing repairs from hurricane damage last fall, the pool was not available, and there is construction ongoing. This did not detract from my stay, however. Glad to help keep tourism going on AMI as they rebuild!

Such a wonderful location!

Such a wonderful location right across from the beach, unit was spacious, clean everything use need. Anna Maria is so special the sunsets are amazing, it's walkable for restaurants, shopping. I've been visiting for over 40 years always something new!!!

Overall decent but needs a work

Overall this property had a nice well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The TV's were also nice in each room. The issues we had were with cleanliness. After the first day we noticed our 1 year old grandson's hand and feet were black from crawling on the floors. We never allow shoes in the house and did not here either, everyone walking in the condo had black feet. I contacted the management company Sea Breeze and they did have someone come out the next day to clean and mop again. The couch and love seat were brown on the front so we laid sheets over it for the week. Both the master bedroom windows were broken and the screen was bent out on one of them so a maintenance person came and cut 2 boards to hold the windows up for some fresh air. We rented a pack and play for our grandson to sleep in and when we got there, it was setting next to another one, it would have been nice to have been alerted we did not need to rent one since there was one there already. I contacted Sea Breeze

Great location

Great condo tastefully decorated in great location. With that being said I would not recommend this condo the beds are shot and need to be replaced. The couch and love seat should have been replaced years ago and are stained and extremely worn out probably the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on.

It was such a beautiful place and area. The pool was awesome. We met so many nice people. In our condo we had access to everything that we needed. We were conveniently located to lots of restaurants and shops to explore.

Starfish Haven was super close to the beach. It was a wonderful top unit perfect for my family of four. It was fully stocked with beach accessories and tons of chairs. The condo was close to everything and the pool was right beside our unit! Will definitely be renting here again!

We were at Anna Maria Island for vacation. The condo was super close to the beach and not too far from everything. The condo was clean and had all the essentials. Even the skillets were like new. We appreciated that.

Great place, great stay, a few minor needs.

Overall, the place was wonderful and in a great location. Updated, clean, user friendly. Property managers were responsive and even had a new TV delivered when we didn't even know the other was broken. :) We would suggest a few minor fixes: *The Keurig was nice but the Mr. Coffee was old, filthy and didn't have a timer. We bought vinegar to clean it and it was still stained. Spend $10 more and get a nicer coffee pot. *The master bedroom mattress was inside a plastic bag; that captures heat and we woke up sweating most nights even with fans on high. We're paying enough for the place, they can replace the mattress when needed and skip the bag. *In today's "I need a charger" world, having one power strip with a 3 ft cord located under and in the middle of the king size bed meant you couldn't use it without crawling under the bed. Again, spend a few $ and get one with a 6' cord. I said they were minor, but those three little things would have made for a 5-star stay. Still, we would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a very friendly atmosphere...nice pool, activities, nice people, sunset and sunrise friendly and close to the white sand beaches! Our condo needs a little upgrading with things like the shower but was very clean and well stacked.

The property was clean and as described. Loved how close it was to the beach. The building is older but the condo has been updated and is very nice. We enjoyed our trip!

Great condo and great location

This condo is perfectly located across the street from the beach and next to the pool. It is nicely decorated and comfortable. There are some things that need upgrading, namely the cookware and the sheets in the primary bedroom. They were low thread count so they were itchy and they did not fit the mattress. The bathrooms could use fans as well. Other than that, this is a fantastic property for the rate and I would definitely stay there again. The best part was having the chairs, beach umbrella and cart available for beach days!

Modern and comfortable

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed that this condo is located central to the pool and beach. The decor is beautiful and the set up is comfortable.

Perfect getaway

After well over 20 years of coming to Anna Maria Island, I stayed at Runaway Bay for the first time. The unit was fantastic, and super close to the beach. Very comfortable, and nicely updated. They had every sort of beach item you could possibly want, including chairs, umbrellas, bocce ball, frisbees, and a cart to tote it all. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for families!

We picked the perfect place for our first trip to Anna Maria Island/ Bradenton Beach. Our 3 boys are 11, 13 and 14. The condo was perfect for us- plenty of space & it was nice to have our own washer/ dryer. The condo complex is literally across the street from the beach so it was very easy to take our chairs & toys (all provided which was so nice!) over to the beach for a little bit then end the day in the condo’s pool. Several items were provided like trash bags, laundry detergent, etc so that was a nice touch. If you’re looking to be really close to the beach but also have a pool, this is a great condo!
