The view was great, but condo not like photos-older&unkempt. the WiFi didnt work with the pw provided. Host replied quickly but gave the same pw so it didn’t work. The front desk couldn’t help bc it’s a privately managed room.Tech support # was recording to nowhere& no call back.The WiFi finally worked after hours of trying but tv never connectedThe condo was dirty & stinky. It smelled like sour wet dog & sewer gas upon checked in. (I mssg the host) bathroom fan/light (very dusty) was on upon checked in, so staff is aware of this.We had to run it 24/7 & still did not eliminate the odors.There are holes in the wall under the bathroom vanity where pipes are exposed. Shower curtain had pink mold on it.Couch reeked of sour dog smell &so stained we covered it with extra linens just to sit on it. Kitchen backsplash was grimy.LV room ceiling fan pull chains don’t work-we couldn’t turn off light & run fan. Bedroom ceiling fan makes a loud noise-the bearings are worn out-we couldn’t run it & sleep. The curtains were very dusty & musty smelling.The nightstand lamp was wonky with a short in the switch. Curtain rod in the LVroom was pulling off the wall crooked.The whole place had dust in every corner/ crevice you looked. Within 5 minutes of being there a giant roach was crawling on the closed sliding door. We went to store to buy cleaners, air freshener& roach spray. Had I known I could reach out to Vrbo for a refund, we would have requested another place to stay.Smells gave me headache

unfortunately we left through our stay. The unit is in very poor condition. The humidity is so high even after running the dehumidifier the furniture is damp. The photos were a severe misrepresentation of the unit. The tub was stained, a wall in the bedroom was half painted, still showing just the wood and caulking, the hair dryer and fan didn’t work. The fan in the living space was so warped from the humidity that the blades were floppy. The bathroom exhaust was so covered in dust it was blowing out when turned on. I do think it would be in your owners best interest to have someone inspect the unit and make repairs. Just being in the unit for an hour and sitting on the couch both of our eyes were watering and the air just felt bad. The general cleanliness was poor and frankly everything seemed haphazardly cleaned at best. We live here in Florida and are no strangers to humidity but this was excessive. Unfortunately it appeared like the photos were staged to hide an aging, ill maintained unit. Host was kind and responsive. Location was great. I’ve never left a stay before but genuinely felt ill in the unit. Hopefully host can make adjustments before the next renter.

I will begin with the view! What an amazing spot! Picture perfect sunrises each morning, Watching dolphins swim by, surfers catch a wave, pelicans and Ospreys diving for their food; it was incredible. The boardwalk to the beach was just steps away from our door, which made it perfect since we brought our pup! The condo was perfect for the two of us and our pup! The kitchen had a full size fridge, induction cooktop, large microwave, toaster and coffee pot. There were plenty of cups, dishes, bowls, plates, and utensils. There's a tall table and two chairs to enjoy breakfast looking at the ocean. The L-shape sofa was not the newest, but very comfortable! There's a comfy chair and end table as well. The table in the entry way came in very handy! The bathroom was clean and had plenty of room for our products. The bedroom has a large closet, bureau, and very comfortable king size bed. There's a smart TV in the living room and bedroom that worked well. The ac's in the living room and bedroom worked perfectly! The unit is not brand new with up to date fixtures and furniture, and there are some cosmetic flaws, but it is comfortable, well appointed, clean, and in a perfect location! Communication with our host was the best we've ever experienced. She answered any question we had within minutes and was super kind and helpful. We will absolutely be renting this unit again in the future!

The condo has everything you need. Very convenient to the pool and beach access. It is quite small, so much better for just a couple. Great view of the beach. It was very convenient to anything in St. Augustine including the outlet mall. It is an older place, so keep that in mind. It was very quiet, no disruptions of others staying there and plenty of parking.

The place was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings with our wine. Next time we would bring our dog Riley. The entire area including condo complex and beach are very dog friendly.

This place has a lot of potential and the location was fantastic. The views were amazing, and we really enjoyed the area. That said, the property could use a little extra care and maintenance. Some of the outdoor chairs were in rough shape, and the curtains in the main living room were barely hanging on. The bedroom could also really benefit from blackout curtains, as the parking lot lights made it feel almost like daylight at night. Overall, it’s a great spot with incredible views, but it just needs some attention to detail to make it truly comfortable.

We had a lovely, quick stay at this apartment. The views from the apartment are amazing. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

We have stayed at Beacher Lodge before. Was very well aware of the age of the condominium, but had a great experience last time. This time complete dissappintment!The curtains were falling off the walls, couch was discusting! The pull out bed was so old and nasty not to mention mattress was maybe 4 inches thick and all springs. The bedroom smelled like wet dog, the bathroom had no toilet paper holder and had cleaning materials that looked 40 years old sitting under the sink exposed. The lamp in the bedroom was broke like leaning 20 degrees sideways. The ac units were in terrible condition and the humidity was so bad even with the dehimidifier running the the furniture stayed wet and the ceiling fan was curiling up. There was only 4 towels provided and they were thin short and miserably uncomfortable 1 even had a yellow stain on it. We wont be back!

Host was welcoming. Pool and beach access were nice. Unit was showing age. Refrigerator was rusty, living room curtain rod was falling down. Minimal kitchen pots/utensils available. Couch was very dirty. Door lock was a total nightmare to function.

Location was good for our needs. We only slept there for our three nights. Mainly liked having a king size bed. But the whole place is very small. It was clean enough and had the necessities, but we felt cramped. It would be helped with a bit more care in some of the cosmetics like a blackout curtain for the bedroom and some minimal fixes. It just wasn’t what we had hoped for, but if you’re looking for beach access this is a good selection.

We enjoyed our stay. The room did smell of pet, so if you are traveling with a pet this is great, if youre not then your items may smell like pet. The couch was the smellest part. Location great! Pool was wonderful! Hot water only worked for the first few minutes of each shower or bath, so plan accordingly if multiple people need to use it. Great Location close to downtwon saint augustine, its about a 30 minute drive.

Perfect for the wife an i. Great view of the beach amazing sunrise. Right next to the pool and beach gate good parking. Comfortable bed. Couldnt have asked for a better stay! Definitely will be staying here again

Beach view was a concrete wall. Several items needed to be fixed. Said they were going to be by to fix the items everyday. Finally fixed them on the last night of our 5 day stay. They said they would give a 30% refund for the inconvenience. That never happened either. Place is so old they have wall unit hvac that are very noisy and can't sleep with them on. Fan didn't work in bathroom. Toilet leaked. No dishwasher. Good luck!
