The property is in a great location for going to Niagara on the lake and Niagara Falls and had enough space for my family (6 adults and 1 infant). I liked that there were plenty of towels and wash cloths, and backyard was nice.

My friends and I celebrated a 70th birthday and had a great time! The house was perfect for us, lots of comfy beds so all 5 of us got our own bed. Everything worked, was in great condition. Great home away from home. Since we were here at the end of September the pool was chilly thanks to the recent cool nights. I think maybe we need a return trip in the summer! Good proximity to NOTL. Great stay!

Very comfortable home with everything we needed. We loved having a hot tub in the evenings and too bad that it was too cool in September for us to use the pool, That would’ve been very nice! The master bedroom upstairs bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a separate shower and deep tub in the master bathroom. The two downstairs bedrooms and second master bathroom would be great if you had a family or another couple it was very roomy and even had a game room. We would come back to this property and it was very well situated being in Virgil and very close to everything in Niagara on the lake just a hint, Peller winery was nearby and had by far the best wines and the ice cave tour and tastings were worth the price!

We were very happy with our stay. The house was as described and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Very nice pool area and the hot tub was great! We had a couple minor issues but the host responded and took care of it immediately. Excellent communication! Will definitely stay again.I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed!!

Our family of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 adults and 2 grandsons aged 14 and 10) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious home for a week with plenty of amenities. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub and there were plenty of pool flotations. Even though the pool was not heated, the temperature was above 25 degrees and felt great! The privacy of the large backyard was so inviting that a lot of our time was spent there. When not outdoors the grandsons kept busy in the lower level with their electronic devices on the large tv.For many of our meals we used the barbecue and ate our meals outdoors on the beautiful patio. There is plenty of dining space inside if that is your preference.The 3 bedrooms were spacious. The master bedroom on the upper level provided a softer mattress whereas the lower level master bedroom mattresses were more firm. There were no complaints in the boys’ room so I’m assuming their beds suited them fine. Three bathrooms for our family was a nice convenience.Also convenient was the keyless entry to the home so we didn’t have to worry about keys when certain family members were off to visit one place while others were going elsewhere. NOTL downtown is a quick drive (under 10 min) and Niagara Falls attractions is an approx. 25 min drive away. Plenty to see and do with a lot of wineries nearby. Thanks to our hosts Claudia and Peer for opening their home to us so that our family could have a wonderful holiday together! We wouldn’t hesitate for a return stay.

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean and had everything we could need and more. From the pool and hot tub to having a variety of games, puzzles, and books for all ages! Not to mention plenty of bath towels as well as beach towels. Our family literally could have brought nothing and had plenty to do. The area was delightful as well. We would highly recommend this property and would come again in a heart beat if we come back!

Spacieux, parfait pour un séjour en famille, emplacement tranquille, j’aimerais y retourner l’été lorsque la piscine est ouverte. Les lits sont confortables, il ne manquait de rien. Nos seuls points négatifs sont le pommeau de douche qui manquait de pression et le spa était fermé.

Perfect house for 7 hockey players in town for a tournament at Meridian CU Arena. Spacious, comfortable, great location, and the hot tub was amazing. Hope to be back there in 2026.

This property was stunning right when you walked in the door. The beds were clean and nicely made. There were loads of beach towels and shower towels available. Multiple sets of cups and wine glasses for indoors and outdoors. This property offers so much opportunity for entertainment between the pool, hot tub, air hockey table, games, books and more! And is in great proximity to restaurants and wineries. Peer and Claudia we so great to answer all of my questions in preparation for our stay.

Best weekend away

My group had the most amazing stay here. The house is very spacious, along with a beautiful backyard, which I think is the main selling point. We were able to take a walk down the road to purchase some flowers from a sweet little farm. The home was clean, some of the bathrooms could use a little bit better of a clean. Overall though, a great stay with great memories made.

Great stay, would gladly come back

We had a great stay here with friends. Beautiful area, close to many wineries, town, etc. We would gladly stay here again or come back with our children. Only confusion was that there is a separate small apt. attached to the house, and we didn't know that. It was no problem as it was just an older, nice family member, just helpful to know and have info about where to park (what side of driveway). House was clean and very fun to stay in and we'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the backyard more.

Nice home near Niagara on the Lake

Very nice home in Virgil so not so close to Niagara on the Lake but certainly drivable. Well furnished with a master bedroom being a perfect size with attached bathroom and tub. Second bedroom in the basement had two queens but bathroom across on the other side. A bit less convenient but was workable for our friends. Kitchen was well stocked but cookware had seen better days and dishes were a mixed bag of random pieces. Overall functional but could definitely use a refresh. Living room was perfect with plenty of seating. The place was quite dirty so had to spend some time cleaning the sinks and bathrooms. Walls, doors, cupboards all had grime and fingerprints so the place really needed a deep clean. Since we were on vacation cleaned what was necessary. The Owner did leave cleaning supplies in the closet and did leave instructions on where things were. No shampoo in the master bathroom so had to share with our friend’s bathroom downstairs. No body-wash or such so had to go out and buy that as well. Couldn’t use the back deck as it was a total mess, not like the pics at all. Cobwebs, leafs, and dirt everywhere so sadly we had to stay inside. Guess it was the end of the season for tourists so probably why things were not up to the standard presented in the pics. Note there is a private suite that was not disclosed. Overall enjoyed our stay, after spending the first day cleaning but I don’t think this is their normal standard as the other reviews only had good comments.

weekend wedding and wineries

generally a very nice place for 6 of us to stay and spend some quality family time together. some areas could use a bit of attention as far as cleanliness (oven, back of bathroom doors) and fridge and freezer had items left in them bed in master bedroom was very comfortable coffee and filters were provided which was a very nice touch! good communication with owners for minor problem. generally very attentive would recommend

Wine tour

The house location is near excellent winery and Farmer, in a beautiful area. We are all pleased by our week. The house was as published nothing bad ! All was good thanks to Claudia.

Girlfriend Get Away

Had a wonderful time staying at this house. The house was clean, tidy, and roomy and the pool was not chlorine based so it was very gentle to our skin and hair. We were walking distance to a little roadside fruit market as well as a little bakery that we visited almost daily. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We would highly recommend this listing. listing.

Perfect location to relax

My family stayed here on a vacation we took to both relax and take our kids to see the falls. We’ve been to Niagara on the lake several times and love the wineries in the area, but this was our first time using Vrbo in that area. The location was perfect, right near Pilliterri, restaurants, not far from NOTL and a short drive to the falls and butterfly conservatory. The property was nicely decorated, very comfortable, and just perfect. And they even made sure to message when they needed to stop by and put out the trash. We would definitely stay there again! Also my kids both loved the house and they are 14 and 10.

Perfect for our family

This place is fabulous. Very clean, spacious and a lot of extras (games, toys etc). Pool was amazing and my girls spent most the week in it. Backyard was very comfortable and relaxing as well. I highly recommend staying here and we hope to return next summer!
