A perfect condo with an absolutely stunning view. Centrally located to everything. Walmart and Costco are only 13 minutes away. Some helpful things that I didn't find in the comments or description... there are beach towels, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, and 2 little coolers to use, along with 2 big blankets in the bottom drawers of the master dresser, and a first aid kit and blow dryer under the bathroom sink. There is everything you could need in the kitchen, including spices. I packed a majority of this, expecting to need it and it could have saved me space in my luggage. It was very clean and well taken care of, and it just made the ease of our trip so much more enjoyable. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. We will definitely be coming back and staying here! Mahalo!

Overall our stay was pleasant. The condo is very cute and in a good location however, some maintenence needs to be done to the condo my family and I got locked out on the balcony twice due to a faulty lock on the sliding glass door. Luckily the 2nd time when all 3 of us got locked out I had my phone with me and was able to call for help. The first time my mom was stuck out there for two hours in the hot sun in till one of us returned home. The upstairs room also stays hot but that was expected there is no AC up there.

Everything was great, however if you have small children, I would not advise staying at this property. The "rules" at the pool make it not a kid-friendly place. No jumping in the pool, no playing Marco polo, no pool floaties, basically...no fun allowed.

We had a fantastic time at this place. The location is perfect to cover various parts of the island. You can sit in the balcony and enjoy the ocean view with Molokini crater in the distance, the nights are specially beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place for your stay in maui.

Smooth check-in and pleasant stay, convenient location (15 minutes drive from the airport, 30 minutes to nearby resort areas with pleasant walking paths). Maalaea is windier than other parts so may not be the best fit for someone who is sensitive to wind gusts at night and they’re staying in the bottom bedroom. I stayed in the upstairs loft bedroom and had no issues. The downstairs bathroom sink handle was really hard to twist. Maintenance came the next day and adjusted it.

With an absolutely gorgeous view, this spot was nicely secluded and quiet with the sound of ocean waves putting us to sleep. There were sea turtles we could see from the balcony. Would be happy to return.

Is totally worth the stay just for the view!! lost count how many whales we saw from the balcony! Awesome! Also saw sea turtles just below on the shore of the condo!! just a couple areas for improvement white floor trim was bare in a few spots, one drawer of refrig did not work ( but no problem still lots of space in frig, and one window shade was torn some at the bottom- we reported both issues and was offered help if needed but we did not believe either issue would alter our stay. Only other issue was getting a copy of final bill from rental company- took 2 emails and a phone call still waiting- guess this is by request only and not automatic.We would definitely stay again and hope to! thanks for sharing your home with us!!

The view from the balcony was spectacular! The condo, not so much. The windows and door leak and howl in the wind. The bathrooms don’t have vents or windows, therefore the humidity lingers. In general, this condo is in need of a serious overhaul.

Great location. The air condition situation was horrible. No extra boxes of Kleenex tissue as one had just one sheet and the other was low. The microwave and dryer are too high for short people.

We enjoyed our stay. Had a small issue with the toilet not flushing towards the end of our stay but it was promptly addressed by the owner as were any questions we had. The only things we would change if we could would be the AC not being on a timer as it got hot during the night and more available hot water for the shower, but it wouldn’t deter us from staying again!! Beautiful property!

Best view in Maui

Loved our stay here. 2 adults in main room, and 2 teens in upstairs room. We each had our own bathrooms which was nice. The view is the real selling point though...honestly the best we saw on the island being right on the water with views of Haleakala as well. 4 beach chairs and an umbrella were very nice too. Great central location.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location - close to other famous beaches, on waterfront where we could see turtles swimming in the “backyard,” balcony area opens up to waterfront, and very close to the airport. We rented a car so everything very accessible. We didn’t use pool or hot tub which are in the smaller side. Place itself was cute and spacious and was nice to have fridge and microwave. Great to have your own room and bathroom also. Overall enjoyed this place!

Our trip to Maui

This is a great place to stay. For January it was quiet and peaceful without crowds of people. Its a smaller condominium and we liked that. You do have to drive to everything but that was not a problem either since people need to get out and explore the island anyways. The only thing I could suggest is softer mattresses, but that is a personal preference too.

Quiet Spor

Really enjoyed the pace and tranquility of the location and the gorgeous view from the balcony. Hot tub was nice and hot and they were never too many people around. Nice quiet, relaxed vibe.

Definitely worth a stay

This property was very centrally located and the views were fantastic. Communication with the property manager was great and the pool, hot tub, and beach at the end of the street were great after a long day. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the unit and property were clean but worn. The towels were thin and the pillows flat but overall would stay again.

Excellent Location, Beautiful View!

While working in Kahului, I chose to stay at the Maalaea Banyans which was a great decision! The location was perfect for my daily commute to work and it an easy walk down the street to catch our weekend excursion to Molokini Crater to go snorkeling. The property was very clean, the hot tub and pool were a great addition, I appreciated having cable TV as well as Netflix to watch movies after the sun went down. The only thing that could have made our stay better was that the air conditioning didn’t keep the bedrooms as cool as we would have liked. We did use the box fan we found upstairs to help circulate the air which helped some. We read the other reviews and thought it would be okay but it just didn’t cool down enough for us at night and it was hot. Otherwise, a great stay and highly recommend this property!
