The view from Lanai is fantastic. Beautiful sunset every night. We used the beach chairs daily. Close to everything in kehei. Amenities in the unit are everything you could need. Only complaint would be, if you have A.C. going, the outside split unit puts out too much heat on the Lanai, making it too hot to sit out there. If you turn off A.C. while out there, it will cool off and make it more pleasant. We have stayed at other units on this beach, this one is better than those at this price point.

We enjoyed our stay. The pool was nice and the sunset views were lovely. The check-in email said one space for a compact car — or you were required to figure out your own parking. This was news to us and we’d already rented a jeep wrangler. It fit and several other cars in the lot were a similar size. If that’s the policy, it should be shared sooner. Due to it being a rental company rather than an individual owner, every message was responded by a different person and attempting to get any type of early check in was nearly impossible.

The view was wonderful. The a/c was nice, not all condos have a/c. On site manager was there a lot. We were surprised there were no bbq facilities. Also annoying was the constant noise of the parks pickleball courts. We are going to come back next year though we liked the area close to food and shopping.

Driving up to the building wasn’t appealing. Pool small and no landscaping. Apt interior good. Ceiling leaked with the bad storm, but that probably happened at a lot of places. Lost electricity, so couldn’t use elevator for my husband who has difficulty with stairs. Clean room.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean had everything you would need for the week. The view was great. The beach was clean. The only issue we had was the bed and pillows are horrible. We would stay at the unit again if there was a new pillows and a new mattress.

View of sunset and ocean in January is 10/10. Nice green park in front to people watch and whale watch. Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and big new towels available. Designated parking spot right by the doors and elevator access was great. A/C in bedroom was excellent and lots of towels and kitchen towels available. Space in bedroom and bathroom was tight but the living room and balcony made up for it. Bedroom was located at the back of the condo with no view window. But the slats opened for breeze. The bedroom was subject to lots of noise from the hallway and chatting neighbors but luckily it was mostly quiet.

Easy parking, great view from the lanai, clean condo, everything you could imagine for the beach…..chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear. We sat on the lanai every morning and had breakfast, the kitchen has everything you need to cook. The only con of this place was that there were no BBQ grilles but it’s understandable since most people have their doors and windows open and don’t need the smoke coming into the condo. The condo complex is quiet and had air conditioning as well which was a huge plus. I would definitely stay here again, restaurants are a short drive away, not much within walking distance but it is centrally located to many of the activities we did.

20th Anniversary Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came to Maui for the first time for our 20th anniversary and the honeymoon we never had. Our condo was perfect! Bed was very comfortable, shower was spacious, the lanai had the BEST view! Everything we needed in the kitchen. Absolutely no problems. We would definitely book this rental again. The pool was quiet and refreshing. We loved watching the people and dogs on the lawn in the park below, had the best sunset views every morning. Only thing we would change is access to a grill for cooking.

great location

The condo was perfect for the two of us. We appreciated the air conditioning at night and LOVED the view from the balcony. The beach was great for morning walks. The whales put on a display every day. We wished we would have had binoculars. Great space for relaxing!

Perfect place to enjoy the sunset!

Our first time staying in this part of the island and it was wonderful! Not only steps from the beach, but also a shirt drive to great restaurants! The home was very clean and comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at Leinaala in October 2024 for the second time. The unit had the basics for cooking as well as beach chairs and coolers. Did not lack anything we really needed. Location is great and the view from the lanai is better than the pictures. Building is very quiet and the caretaker keeps everything looking nice. We had a problem with the sunshade on the lanai when we arrived. After one call to Rentals Maui the shade was fixed within a day. I would not hesitate to rent through Rentals Maui at any of their locations. I do highly recommend the Leinaala for a stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Leinaala 302 as we can’t imagine staying anywhere else on Maui. It’s really perfect. Ocean view, quiet adult bldg with a pool, close enough to Kihei for convenience but you feel far from the bustle. Glorious panoramic sunset views, and steps to the ocean for warm beach walks. The condo is also beautiful, comfortable and well appointed and the property is beautifully maintained with a clean pool. Also, all of the staff with Rentals Maui are incredibly friendly and helpful. Already planning stay #3!
