Communication with a host was acceptable. It seems to be a husband and wife team, and we ended up getting a lot of duplicate messages spam style, but not a big deal. The description of the rental has a pullout sleeper as well as a sofa sleeper listed. Those are actually the same bed just in case people are confused like we were about that. (It was not comfy. We do not recommend having more than one person sleep on that. Our son actually preferred to just sleep on the couch without it pulled out because it was more supportive that way.) It also states no hidden fees, but 10 days before our arrival, we learned that we had to pay HOA parking fees. I think that should have been mentioned in the cost, as it was a hidden fee we were not expecting. The unit had everything we needed for preparing our meals in the condo, which was super helpful. The staff at the complex was not the friendliest, but that is not the renters‘s fault. While we were there, there were some rain storms that caused the pools and hot tubs to be closed frequently. We thought it was a little excessive as it was not actively thundering or lightning. It made the option of an indoor pool (also closed during storms), not as useful as we had hoped for. Again, not the renters’s fault. We were told that if we arrived early, we could use the bathrooms near the outdoor pool pools to change and enjoy the pool and beach until we could get into our actual unit. That was not the case.Overall, it was enjoyable.
