Great for big families! We had our 5 kids there and it was perfect! There are 2 baby gates provided but next time will bring our own as well because there are lots of stairs and we had a toddler with us. Loved the privacy as well as all the big bunnies running around! Will definitely be coming back

Everything about this stay was perfect. From the gorgeous, well-appointed home (full of thoughtful details that made a trip with kiddos that much smoother) (including a well-appointed kitchen that allowed our family to enjoy cooking and dining together), to the gorgeous location (ahhh-- the view from the porch!), to the excellent communication from the host all the way from beginning to end, everything was absolutely perfect. We look forward to staying again sometime.

Beautiful location and great house! Some appliance wonkiness (coffee maker doesn’t shut off automatically, make sure you really push fridge door closed) didn’t dim the great time all 8 of us enjoyed! Highly recommend!

Everything was fantastic, except I want to mention that there are beach burrs/ stickers along the path to the beachAnd at the edge of the grassy dunes and beach which Our dog stepped in and he could not really walk or go to the beach for the rest of the vacation. Keep your dog on the path! Epic house. Kids loved the little movie theater.Comfortable beds, great views— loved it.

4 day/night stay at this great location. Family enjoyed the hike to the beach and relaxing at the house. This place was clean and today. Plenty of supplies for dishwasher, W&D and such. New Year’s w/family

4 adults and two young adults, a border collie and by no means least, a miniature schnauzer.Went our separate ways at “home:” Chit-chat, cross-talk and laughter. Pastry and great coffee so very nearby.. Explored Astoria, Long Beach, Ilwaco and surrounds. Saw birds and deer, but no bear. Watched the surf and the divine distance. Walked the boardwalk, wallked the beach. Painted, read, crocheted, watched a movie with popcorn and two dogs. Sang ‘Auld Lang Syne”, and slept.Had everything we needed. Sad to go home.Property nicely isolated.Views allowed us to rest our eyes on the distant, a glimpse of the eternal.

Great Beachfront House on the Peninsula

This is a wonderful house on a quiet street, yet walking distance to Ocean Park. We loved the open views to the dunes and ocean. A wildlife refuge and state park with great walking trails are nearby. Discovering the cute little town of Oysterville was unexpected fun! Our family enjoyed the comfortable and open main level, with plenty of beds for everyone upstairs.

AMAZING home for a cozy family vacation!

This house blew our minds from the moment we drove up the driveway to our first impressions as we walked around the house the first time! I called it a "sleeper" because the photos didn't even do it justice... I guessed that the house would probably be a little smaller than the photos portrayed, but it was MUCH bigger, nicer and cozier. The kitchen is a cook's dream, and fully stocked with everything you would need. The grassy dunes to the beach provide beautiful scenery as you enjoy your morning coffee or games at the dining room table. The only thing I felt bad about was that we didn't invite another family to join us for the weekend!

Great location and roomy house

Our book group appreciated the nice communal areas kitchen/dining and living room, as well as the fact that there were enough beds for each of us. Many houses that advertise for 8 people assume that it is four couples, so it was great to find a house with 8 beds. Lots of stairs, but we did fine with that. So nice too to have a great view, and awesome walking beach so close to town and central to exploring the peninsula.
