This quiet home was a wonderful spot for our recent trip with our dog. The home was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with equipment and kitchen tools.

Things we liked about the stay:The house was very clean and no dust bunnies or insects in the entire place. We loved how the kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans. The WIFI worked perfect and was a great asset to our planning in the park. Downstairs had plenty of room with an open kitchen and large dinning table. The air conditioning unit kept the downstairs very cold and often we had to turn it down and even off to get a comfortable feel. Outside was great and very quite, just as we hoped. Although the highway was near, we rarely heard cars or other neighbors. Although the grill and outside fire was great, we did not use them. The outside table was great in the evenings to watch the ground squirrels on the property. The bathroom was nice with tub/shower, small but very nice and love the brown tones.Things that could have been better:The sleeping beds are upstairs, which means you have to lug your luggage upstairs. This was concerning since our luggage was near the 50lb mark from the airport. Another surprise was there is no air conditioning upstairs. Although the unit was at the base of the stairs, during the day, upstairs remained warm to hot. We came in July, so the nights were in the 50s and sleeping was comfortable while the windows were open. With that being said, the upstairs was not usable by us during the day due to the heat. Both of the beds upstairs were queen, so if you are large in stature a couple may be a tight fit. We enjoyed our stay

A beautiful property in quite possibly the most beautiful part of the Lower 48. Glacier NP is, of course, gorgeous, but if you have extra time during your stay, driving up the North Fork Road has some amazing views, and is far less crowded than the park. Though Polebridge was pretty hoppin’! Will definitely be coming back to explore some of the trails we drove by.

A very enjoyable place to stay. It is secluded in the woods and very peaceful. The wifi is good, which is necessary for doing research about where to go, restaurants, etc. The kitchen was well stocked and there is a grill so we were able to cook out. The house had everything you would need for your stay. The location is good and it is a relatively short drive to the west entrance to Glacier. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-organized and thoughtfully stocked the house was. Everything we needed was at our fingertips and this attention to detail made settling in a breeze.The house itself is a gem, blending beauty and comfort effortlessly. The interior is tastefully decorated with a warm, welcoming vibe, and the spacious layout ensured everyone in our group felt right at home. We really appreciated the binder full of information about the area.One of our favorite features was the outdoor space. It was perfect for barbecuing, with a well-maintained grill and a lovely dining area where we enjoyed meals under the stars. The firepit was a highlight—nothing beat gathering around it at night, roasting marshmallows, and soaking in the peaceful Montana evenings.This rental was the perfect base for our Glacier adventure. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommend this beautiful, comfortable home.

Glacier National Park retreat

Everything about this property was exceeded our expectations. They thought of everything to make our stay so relaxing and perfect. Close to Glacier, Whitefish, Kalispell and Coumbia Falls was perfect. Our dogs also felt right at home too! 10 out of 10.

NW Montana base camp

Glacier Hideaway is a beautiful home perfectly located near Columbia Falls, Montana and acts as a superb base camp for exploring Glacier National Park and other nearby national wilderness lands, as well as the towns of Whitefish, Kalispell, and Polebridge.

Perfect house to visit Glacier NP

Wow. This home was amazing. Super comfortable. Filled with so many creature comforts. Property super quiet and relaxing. The owner was so thoughtful towards to us and dogs. Only 30 minutes from the west gate of Glacier NP and perfect to visit surrounding areas.

Beautiful and perfect seculded location

The property and house were wonderful. Clean, modern, secluded but close to town and all outdoor activities that Glacier National Park and surrounding area has to offer. Would highly recomend this property and would definitely return.

Great house in a beautiful location

We enjoyed our stay in Columbia Falls, close to Glacier Nat'l Park, Nat'l Forest lands, and beautiful rivers and lakes. We were so happy to find a place that was pet friendly for our dog too. The listing was described with accuracy and we really loved the peace and quiet of the house and surrounds. We had hot days while we were in the area but the AC worked well; and we opened the windows in the evening to let in the cool evening air. The owners were gracious to leave us a small goodie bag when we arrived, along with numerous suggestions for visits in the area. We'd definitely reserve again!

Lovely house and location

We had a great stay. There are plenty of linens and paper products! The location is secluded in the woods yet the driveway is short and the place is in a good vicinity for lots of activities. Not far from Glacier west Apgar entrance. About 2 1/2 hour drive to Many Glacier but the drive is beautiful scenery. We went via Looking Glass road which is on cliff edges but we loved it. We loved driving around Flathead lake (Cherry orchards on east side are so pretty). Also Blue Goose Aviation recommended -flying over Mission mountains.

Montana stay

Nice place. Close to Glacier west, we actually drove up to the Polebridge entrance a couple of times during our stay to do some hikes in that area. Polebridge is about an hour away but the drive wasn't too bad. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
