We had a wonderful time at Wolf Hollow mid-September. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings immensely after each day hiking around in YNP. Lot of construction on the main road up to the park so down to one lane which caused a longer ride to and from the park each day. None of us had ever played shuffleboard before so that was really fun to try. The high tech stove was a bit tricky to use but Shawna and Laceigh were always quick to respond to any question we had and a real joy to work with. I highly recommend them and Wolf Hollow. However, this was my first booking through VRBO and I'm not sure if I will ever use them again. I was required to pay extra up front as a security deposit which was kept for two full weeks after we checked out. So they had my for 3 full months. It was refunded as promised. On top of that security deposit I was still required to pay an additional amount for a short term damage insurance policy! I couldn't believe it and that almost was the deal breaker. I guess that requirement is a comment on some people's behavior causing owners to have to take that precaution which is unfortunate. But if you can get past those requirements then I highly recommend Wolf Hollow itself.

We loved this dog friendly cabin with a pickleball court!! The cabin was warm and cozy and we had everything we needed. We cooked all of our meals at ease. The hot tub was beautiful under the stars. We loved the pickleball court and shuffle board. It was quiet and peaceful property. Easy drive to Yellowstone National Park.

Our stay was great. The place was clean, stocked, and peacefull. The place had noce amenities likenhot tub, two full bathrooms, games, pickleball court, grill, and much more. Nice quite and relaxing place to stay.

It was a wonderful place to stay! Well stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable with a lovely view of the mountains. Host was very responsive. We really enjoyed playing pickleball on the court.

Our 5-night stay was excellent. The property was beautiful and well kept, most importantly immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with any & everything you might need. I highly recommend this property and would stay again if the occasion ever presented itself.

We loved staying here. The hot tub was phenomenal, super clean! We also loved the pickle ball court. Just a fun place to stay. Beds were comfortable. Would totally stay here again!

Very clean and welcoming. Hot tub worked sometimes, WiFi login didn’t work, book needs to be updated. Nice and quiet location, we enjoyed playing some of the games.

Regarding the hot tub — our handyman did stop by twice during your stay to ensure it was functioning properly, and it was confirmed to be working both times. The temperature simply needed to be adjusted. As for the Wi-Fi, the login credentials have remained the same for several years, so we’re not sure why there may have been any confusion, but we appreciate you bringing it to our attention and will double-check the guidebook just in case. This is our second stay at Wolf Hollow. We absolutely love the location and the cabin. Plenty of space for us to spend time together and also have private space in bedrooms and porches. The upgrades to the back patio are amazing! The support from the host is top notch, even working quickly when we had to change our dates. We can’t wait for next year!!

Perfect place!

This place was the best one we’ve stayed at! The hot tub was excellent and clean. The kitchen was stocked with all things needed to cook, beds were comfortable! Loved the pickleball court! Would highly recommend and I would definitely go back when we visit island park again!

Perfect family getaway

We used this cabin for a family summer vacation. We had 6 in our group and could have comfortably added 2 more. We used the pickle ball court, shuffle board and very nice, clean hot tub. Loved it!

Absolutely wonderful cabin. Our family had a great time. Host was responsive, polite and easy to talk to. The cabin and amenities were stellar. They even had a "goodie" bag on the table when we arrived. Cabin had all the things, plus! Very nicely appointed and comfortable. This place is a must if you are staying in the area. This family trip was to see Yellowstone. It was an easy drive to the West Gate. Only negative, which was completely out of the host control, there was road construction on the road before cabin turn off. Only affected our trip but we factored extra drive time to account for that. The road improvement will be a plus for the next visitors! We rode horses on trails and fished at the Eagle Ridge Ranch that's just down the road. Highly recommend them too.

Yellowstone Bound

We loved this cabin! The hosts were attentive with replies to questions, we thoroughly enjoyed playing pickleball and shuffleboard. Having ziplocs and a cooler were a bonus surprise as we took lunches to the park. The beds were comfy and showers were hot. Plenty of room and kitchenware as well. We grilled out one meal too. We would stay there again if we visit this way.

Christmas Vacation

We had such an amazing time at this cabin over the week of Christmas. It was decorated so cute and was exactly as listed. The kitchen had the perfect supplies to make homemade meals and the appliances were all really great and seemed like new. When we contacted Shawna she was very responsive and considerate even during the holidays. Our dogs loved it too! We would totally recommend :)

Great relaxing get-away, Also close to lots of fishing...

Really nicely updated and remodeled cabin. Had a small problem with the main TV working and there is no Satellite, only streaming. But we didn't spend much time in cabin anyway so not a big deal. We're all about fishing so didn't use on-site things much but there are shuffe boards, pickle ball court, big fire pit and small on-deck fire LP fire pit with nice hot tub. Lots and lots of room for parking and boats, trailers, etc. Woulf be a good property for families, buddies, etc. One of the better properties for the money that we've stayed, and we've stayed at several.

A memorable stay

We stayed at the property with kids and their grand kids. Everyone in the company liked this place. The hosts were courteous and friendly. There were many fun things to do both inside and outside the property. We felt like we could really relax in this house everyday after our long days of exploring Yellowstone National Park.

Awesome place to stay!

We had an amazing time staying here. The cabin was very clean and nice inside. The beds were comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find a pickle ball court, shuffle board, and hot tub. They were fabulous. We also had our dogs with us and the dog run was a great place to allow the dogs to be when we couldn't keep an eye on them. The whole family was very happy. Shawna is a great hostess and answered questions quickly. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommended it.

Family trip to Island Park!

The property was amazing! The outdoor space was fantastic, including space to congregate together or separate if quiet time was needed. We enjoyed the back deck, as well as top deck for sunsets. The entire property was clean and the neighborhood quiet. The indoor space was also very clean, with awesome amenities, especially in the kitchen. We enjoyed the living and dining space downstairs, plenty of room for our entire group to spend time together. The location was close enough to all the outdoor activities we wanted to do. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. We will definitely be booking this cabin again!!

Inside nice, outside needs work

Very nice and clean inside. Outside/landscaping could use a lot of work. Could not find pickleball net for court. Not much space in upstairs bathroom, not even towel hooks or racks.

We appreciate your review. We choose to only mow a certain percentage of the lawn and allow the rest to be as natural as the rest of the forest surrounding us. We are in the process of building a nice rear deck and your stay just happened to land during a time frame when we made due with a patio out back. We apologize for the net, it was damaged and a new one was being ordered. Thank you for your opinion on the upstairs bathroom, but we believe that the shower is actually oversized which doesn't allow for a lot of wall space, but in our opinion we like to have a nice big shower and hang our towels on hooks in our rooms in order to make certain we keep our towels straight. Thank you so much for letting us know your opinion though!

Perfect for a family getaway

My family loved everything about the cabin. Super kid and furry-pal friendly. Kids decided we should come back every year. Outside pickle ball and shuffle court was an awesome addition.
