One of the best!

We were all so thankful we got to stay at this place! First, everyone we interacted with was super responsive and nice, and their clear priority was on making sure we had a lovely vacation. Second, this is someone's home, it's not a business venture. That means there's quality pans and the other stuff you need in the kitchen, a crazy number of comfortable places to sit, and an overabundance of things to do. The house is remote but so serene and we didn't see or hear another soul the entire week. Last but not least there's the lake! The view is spectacular! The lake is nice and wide at this point, there's not much traffic (or wasn't our week), and you have a brilliant view of Burlington and the VT mountains. I could stare at the lake all day. And did. When the water is calm you can go out on the paddleboards or kayaks; when the wind is up, you can sail. Just wonderful! We'd all go back again tomorrow if we could.

Beautiful Lakefront Property

This house provided privacy and amenities all in one location. Beautifully updated kitchen and bathrooms and ample space for each guest in the bedrooms. The living room is very spacious with a very large TV. The couches are a bit older and could use some TLC. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful feature which were used daily. It is very apparent that this home is a much loved personal family home, and we were extra mindful of the many fragile items in the home. I would recommend if possible removing some of the extra items that are not necessary for renters use. Sara who helps to oversee the property was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout our stay as well. Would certainly suggest for anyone looking for a home with everything in one spot- easily accommodated our family of 12.

Thank you for your kind review, we appreciate the great feedback AND have also taken your advice and upgraded the furniture in the living room to brand new comfortable sofas and chairs. As well you are right about it being our family home and having some fragile things around, and while we always debated removing them, we believe that they add character and value, and honestly we would also understand if they broke during a rental, or anyone even from our family, BUT did remove some of the more "precarious placed ones" to avoid someone feeling bad. We are so very happy you enjoyed you stay and again thanks for the great comments and suggestions. Eric

Ward Family

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was dead easy and clean. The views are fantastic, and there are plenty of toys to enjoy the lake. The owners even bought us pizza one night! Would highly recommend this spot!

A family Adirondack getaway

Beautiful home; great area; beautiful views of lake and mountains; reasonable distance to surrounding attractions; all you need for a great vacation---is right there. Very nice people to work with--attentive, responsive, and reasonable to deal with. Quick to reply and always nice to interact with. could not ask for anymore. Highly recommended.

Great house on Lake Champlain!

We had a fantastic long weekend on the lake boating and enjoying this great property. The kids loved the pool and the outdoor space was really outstanding. The property owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with and the stay was a big success!

Does NOT get better than this!

This house is magnificent, on a beautiful property, with a spectacular view, and any amenity you could wish for! We had to put together a wedding in five weeks, and Nadine and Eric could not have been more gracious and responsive about the booking right through our entire stay. The new updates are top-notch, with lovely baths and a huge kitchen, two frigs, with absolutely everything you could need. The kitchen is stocked like it's your own, plates and utensils aplenty. Our family and some of the wedding party stayed with us, and at one point there were 13 in the house. NEVER felt like it, there are so many spaces to spread out to, outside, inside, covered porches, it was an amazing place. Our daughter got dressed in the "church room" which was so perfect the pictures make me cry! Many thanks to Nadine and Eric for making our stay extra special!!

Great Rental!

Loved loved loved this place! The property is well maintained and is on a fantastic spot on the lake. The owners were extremely responsive and made the check in/out process very easy. Will definitely be back!

A Week on Lake Champlain

It was a perfect location for a relaxing vacation! Swimming in the lake, then pool, and finally hot tub! There was lots of room inside and out for us to hang out together or get a little alone time. Thanks Nadine and Eric.

The Perfect Getaway!

“The best trip ever” as described by our 10, 8, and 6 year old kids. We couldn’t agree more. Nadine and Eric were unbelievably kind and responsive! The house had everything we needed. It was clean and welcoming. You can tell that this “wood house” holds many memories of a warm, loving family. The pictures don’t do the place justice. The view is breath taking. We kayaked every day and lived in the pool. We had privacy and were in constant awe of how massive the lake was, which looks into Vermont and the beautiful mountains. The local market was just a short drive away with everything you might want too. What a special place! We can’t wait to come back. We can’t thank you enough for giving us such a memorable time away from our busy lives!

Great Stay

Beautiful property with all the amenities. Kitchen was just remodeled and looks way better than website description. Suck a lovely spot and view to die for. Wonderful family house and property
